Sara Ali Khan Visits Nidhi Dutta’s Family Ganpati Celebration

Mumbai — Actress Sara Ali Khan marked the final day of Ganeshotsav by visiting filmmaker Nidhi Dutta’s family Ganpati celebration and seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha.

Sara shared photos from the visit on social media, including images of herself posing beside the elaborately decorated Ganesha idol.

“Last din par Dutta cha Raja ke darshan ho gaye Ganpati Bappa Morya,” she wrote.

Sara has frequently participated in festivals from different religious and cultural traditions. Her father, Saif Ali Khan, and Kareena Kapoor Khan have also shared glimpses of family celebrations, including this year’s Ganesh Chaturthi festivities.

Kareena recently posted photos of Saif helping their younger son, Jehangir Ali Khan, make a clay Ganesha idol.

On the work front, Sara was last seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, released in May 2026. She will next appear alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in Udta Teer, a spy comedy directed by Akash A. Kaushik and scheduled for release on October 9, 2026.

Sara made her acting debut opposite the late Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath in 2018 and has since appeared in films including Simmba, Atrangi Re, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Murder Mubarak, Sky Force and Metro… In Dino.

Kareena Kapoor Shares Intense Workout Routine

Mumbai — Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor has shared a glimpse of her latest workout routine, posting a detailed fitness chart on social media.

The actress shared a photo of a whiteboard titled “KKK Flow,” featuring a mix of strength training, conditioning and cardio exercises. “Loving it,” she wrote alongside the post.

The workout is divided into two sections, each consisting of five rounds. Part A includes step-back kettlebell chops, wide-stance kettlebell lift-to-row repetitions and sled pushes.

Part B, labeled “Zone 2,” includes 200 meters on the ski erg, 200 meters of rowing and a one-minute bear hold.

Kareena has often spoken about maintaining a balanced approach to fitness instead of following restrictive diets. Her transformation for Tashan in 2008 drew widespread attention for her “size zero” look, though she has said she did not starve herself to achieve it.

On the work front, Kareena was last seen in Meghna Gulzar’s crime thriller Daayra, released in theaters on September 18. The film marked her first on-screen collaboration with Prithviraj Sukumaran, with the two playing police officers on opposing sides of a controversial encounter case.

Amitabh Bachchan Recalls Audience Reaction to Deewaar Temple Scene

Mumbai — Amitabh Bachchan has recalled how audiences initially laughed during the now-iconic “Aaj khush toh bahut hoge tum” temple scene from Deewaar before the theater fell silent.

Speaking with actor Rajkummar Rao on Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18, Bachchan said the reaction came because viewers had rarely seen a character speak to God in such a confrontational way.

The discussion followed Rajkummar’s recreation of the famous monologue on the show.

“Sir, when this dialogue was spoken on the day of the premiere, people started laughing because no character had ever spoken to God in this manner,” Bachchan recalled. He explained that Vijay, who does not believe in God, enters the temple for the first time because his mother is seriously ill.

Bachchan has previously said the initial laughter quickly stopped as the emotional weight of the scene became clear.

In Deewaar, Bachchan played Vijay Verma, a man shaped by poverty and humiliation who eventually enters the criminal underworld. The temple sequence became one of the film’s defining moments.

Directed by Yash Chopra and written by Salim-Javed, Deewaar also starred Shashi Kapoor, Nirupa Roy, Neetu Singh and Parveen Babi. Released in 1975, the film became a landmark of Hindi cinema.

Adaa Khan Says ‘The Lift’ Gave Her a ‘Completely Different High’

Mumbai — Actress Adaa Khan has described working on her new show The Lift as a refreshing experience that gave her “a completely different high.”

“Every day we had a new experience. There was a sense of freshness, and I was experiencing something new myself,” Adaa said. “This show gave me a completely different high, and I had so much fun working on it.”

The Naagin actress also spoke about working with Pratik Sehajpal, saying his relaxed personality helped her open up to the team despite being an introvert.

“Prateek is the kind of person who breaks the ice himself. He is a very chilled-out person,” she said.

Adaa also praised Ishika’s work and said she was impressed throughout the shoot.

Discussing the show’s characters, she said each one has both positive and negative qualities, with psychological layers that made them interesting to explore.

Adaa added that filming for long hours inside the confined setting of a lift also helped the cast bond closely.

She is currently seen as Hrishika in Ishika Shahi’s The Lift, which is streaming on the Directors Kut Production YouTube channel.

Alia Bhatt Unveils Cabaret Look in Love & War Poster

Mumbai — After revealing Ranbir Kapoor’s first look from Love & War, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has unveiled Alia Bhatt’s character poster from the upcoming period drama.

In the poster, Alia appears in a glamorous cabaret-inspired look, wearing a wine-red sequined outfit with feathers as she poses against red curtains and sparkling lights.

Bhansali Productions shared the image with the caption, “Aag bhi, dilon ki jaan bhi! Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War on 21st January 2027. See you at the movies!”

The poster follows the release of Ranbir Kapoor’s first look, which showed him in a retro style behind the wheel of a vintage car, with slicked-back hair, sunglasses and a mustache. A bloodied arm and bullet mark on his shirt hinted at the film’s wartime setting.

Alia had also shared Ranbir’s poster on social media, writing, “Hey Handsome.. Love & War in cinemas, January 21, 2027.”

Love & War stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, with Bhansali directing and producing. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on January 21, 2027.

Madhuri Dixit Celebrates Maharashtra Heritage in Paithani Saree

Mumbai — Actress Madhuri Dixit celebrated Maharashtra’s cultural heritage by wearing a traditional Paithani saree for the premiere of Marathi quiz show Kon Honar Crorepati.

“A Paithani is not just a pretty saree, it carries with it centuries of history, tradition, and the rich cultural heritage of Maharashtra,” Madhuri said. “Wearing a Paithani is a beautiful way of celebrating everything that Maharashtra stands for — its traditions, its artistry and its timeless elegance.”

Madhuri said she particularly appreciates the elegance of the weave and how each saree has its own character, adding that traditional culture can be celebrated in a contemporary way while respecting its origins.

The actress will host Kon Honar Crorepati, which premieres October 12 on Sony Marathi and Sony LIV. A recently released promo showed Madhuri in her new role as the show’s host.

Madhuri previously described the program as more than a quiz show, saying it celebrates “curiosity, aspiration, hope and the courage to dream.”
