Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Eetha’ Gets New December Release Date
Mumbai — Shraddha Kapoor’s upcoming biographical drama “Eetha” will now hit theaters on Dec. 4, 2026, the filmmakers announced Tuesday.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film also stars Randeep Hooda, Nana Patekar and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.
Kapoor plays legendary Maharashtra folk performer Vithabai Narayangaonkar, whose rise from modest beginnings in Tamasha and Lavani theater to cultural stardom forms the heart of the film.
The project is expected to bring the colorful world of Maharashtra’s traditional folk theater to a wider Hindi-language audience. Its teaser has already drawn attention for Kapoor’s dramatic transformation and the movie’s period setting.
Ajay-Atul composed the music.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Laxman Utekar and Karishma Sharma, “Eetha” marks Kapoor’s third collaboration with Vijan after the blockbuster “Stree” franchise.
The film is backed by Maddock Films and Kathputli Creations.
Ayushmann Khurrana Goes ‘Wild and Filmy’ on Masai Mara Safari
Mumbai — Ayushmann Khurrana brought a Bollywood twist to the African wilderness as he shared highlights from his safari in Kenya’s Masai Mara.
The actor posted photos and videos from the trip, showing giraffes roaming the grasslands, lionesses resting in the bushes and one unsuccessful chase after a zebra.
“A little wild. A little filmy. #Africa #Mara,” Khurrana captioned the post.
Never one to miss a chance for humor, the actor paired the wildlife clips with playful versions of Bollywood songs, changing lyrics to fit the animals on screen.
One clip showed him jokingly turning “Morni Baaga Ma” into “Sherni Baaga Ma Bole” for a lioness, while a giraffe sighting inspired another improvised musical gag.
Khurrana, who made his film debut with “Vicky Donor” in 2012, is known for hits including “Andhadhun,” “Badhaai Ho,” “Article 15,” “Dream Girl” and “Bala.”

Mumbai — Ananya Panday marked Sawan Shivratri with a visit to the sacred Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga, sharing glimpses of her prayers with fans on Tuesday.
The actress posted a series of photos from the temple on Instagram, dressed in a simple yellow ethnic outfit with her hair tied in a bun.
“Om Namah Parvati Pataye, Har Har Mahadev!” she wrote in the caption.
Her mother, Bhavana Pandey, responded to the post with “Om namah shivay” and a folded-hands emoji.
Located in Maharashtra’s Sahyadri hills near Pune, Bhimashankar is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Mumbai — Zeenat Aman says work has become more enjoyable with her son by her side.
The veteran actress shared a glimpse into her life in a new Instagram post Tuesday, reflecting on everything from flowers and home-cooked food to health challenges and professional adventures.
“These days, sharing the journey with my son has made work more fun than it has any right to be,” Aman wrote.
She did not identify which son she was referring to. Her younger son, Zahaan Khan, frequently works with her on social media, while her elder son, Azaan Khan, is a filmmaker.
Aman also opened up about learning to listen to her body during occasional health struggles and finding greater joy in life’s smaller moments.

Mumbai — Nia Sharma is following a special Sawan tradition this year — on her mother’s orders.
The television actress revealed on social media that she plans to visit a temple on all four Mondays of Shravan after her mother advised her to do so.
“Happy Sawan ki Shivratri. Om Namah Shivaaya! Mummy ne bola hai Shravan ke 4 Somvaar mandir jaana hai… to janaaa hai,” Sharma wrote.

Mumbai — Lisa Ray is speaking out against the film industry’s obsession with youth and the pressure women face to constantly “fix” their appearance.
In a candid Instagram post, the 54-year-old actress reflected on aging, beauty standards and the anxiety created by expectations around weight, wrinkles, gray hair and desirability.
Ray said reading Naomi Wolf’s “The Beauty Myth” as a teenager helped her understand how fear about appearance can be turned into a business.
“I’ve benefited from beauty standards. I’ve performed them. I’ve also been diminished by them,” she wrote.
The actress said getting older has helped her recognize those pressures more clearly and care less about meeting unrealistic expectations.
“At 54, I’m far more interested in inhabiting my body than correcting it,” Ray said, adding that she now focuses more on strength, health and enjoying life.
