Times Music Spiritual to Launch Documentary Series on Himachal Pradesh’s Sacred Temples
The 10-part series, “Divya Darshan,” premieres Oct. 12 and explores the history and traditions of ten Shaktipeeth temples.

Times Music Spiritual will premiere Divya Darshan, a 10-part documentary series exploring the history, religious traditions and cultural significance of ten Shaktipeeth temples in Himachal Pradesh, India, beginning Oct. 12, 2026.
The series will be available on the Times Music Spiritual YouTube channel during Navratri, the Hindu festival dedicated to the divine feminine.
The anchor-led series features conversations with temple priests, local historians and researchers to document lesser-known stories, religious practices and traditions associated with the temples.
The project was developed with guidance from Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri and support from the state government’s Cultural Ministry, which provided access, historical knowledge and guidance for the series.
“Himachal Pradesh’s ancient temples and timeless traditions are central to our cultural heritage,” Agnihotri said in a statement. He said the series could help introduce the sacred sites to a wider audience and promote spiritual tourism in the state.
Mandar Thakur, CEO of Times Music, said the series aims to explore the historical and cultural stories associated with India’s temples through long-form storytelling.
The Shaktipeeths are sacred sites associated with the Hindu goddess Shakti and hold an important place in Hindu religious traditions. Through Divya Darshan, Times Music Spiritual aims to document the heritage of Himachal Pradesh’s temples and make their stories accessible to audiences beyond the region.
The series premieres Oct. 12 on the Times Music Spiritual YouTube channel.
