Kareena Kapoor Posts Cryptic Message as Karisma’s Kids Win Court Relief

MUMBAI, India — Kareena Kapoor sent social media buzzing after posting a cryptic message about justice and truth, just as Karisma Kapoor’s children scored a major legal victory in a bitter family inheritance battle.

“And there is light… Justice and truth will always prevail… Chardikala,” Kareena wrote on Instagram Stories, adding heart, rainbow and folded-hands emojis.

The actress did not name anyone, but the timing was hard to miss.

On Thursday, the Delhi High Court granted interim relief to Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, in their dispute with Priya Kapur over the will of their late father, Sunjay Kapur.

The court restrained Priya from accessing or dealing with Sunjay’s assets for now, saying the estate must be preserved while the case continues. Justice Jyoti Singh said questions raised over the purported will need to be addressed, and that Priya has the burden of clearing the doubts surrounding it.

Samaira and Kiaan have challenged a March 21, 2025, will that allegedly leaves Sunjay’s entire personal estate to Priya. They claim the document was forged as part of a conspiracy to cut them and their grandmother out.

Sunjay Kapur, Karisma’s former husband, died in June 2025 at age 53 after reportedly suffering a heart attack while playing polo in the United Kingdom.

The actress opened up during a conversation with Soha Ali Khan on her podcast All About Her, saying the process left her in serious discomfort.

“Physically, I was in a lot of pain,” Akansha said, adding that she could not stand straight because it felt “like there was a big balloon inside me.”

She said her sister helped give her injections, but even walking from one wing of the building to another became difficult.

“For 2 or 3 days, I couldn’t even walk as I was in so much pain,” she said.

Akansha said she had asked her doctor what workouts she could do and was told she could only walk. But after the first day, even that felt impossible.

She described the sensation as bloating, heaviness and discomfort rather than normal cramps, saying it felt like “there’s just a big balloon in my stomach and it’ll burst any minute.”
