Ridheema Tiwari keen to counsel victimised women
Mumbai–Actress Ridhima Tiwari says she would love to make a difference in the life of mistreated and victimised women.
“I would love to counsel and host workshops for the victimised women and make a difference in their lives. At times when women suffer through misery, they need someone who can restore faith in them. I would love to be that person if required, and help them lead a happier life,” Ridheema said in a statement.
The actress, who essays the role of a negative character in the Life Ok’s show “Ghulaam”, added that she is also planning to join hands with voluntary organisations that provide aid and guidance to woman and help them regain confidence in themselves.
Was lucky enough to get ‘Har Mard Ka…’: Aditya Sharma
Child actor Aditya Sharma has been roped in for “Har Mard Ka Dard”, and he feels lucky.
The makers had previously zeroed in on child actor Jason D’Souza, who was all set to start the shoot but the makers and the actor couldn’t adjust the time for the shoot.
Later, Aditya got finalised for the Life OK show.
Asked about the role, Aditya said: “I am playing the character of Tulsi in the show ‘Har Mard ka Dard’. I am very excited for this role. I love to experiment and take up new challenges. I was lucky enough to get this. I hope viewers appreciate my hard work.”
Sneha Wagh faints on ‘Sher-e-Punjab…’ set
Mumbai–Actress Sneha Wagh, who plays Raj Kaur in the historical show “Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh”, fainted on the set here.
“Summer is here and to shoot in such a heavy costume is hectic. Because of the increase in temperature, I started feeling dizzy and lost my consciousness. I was also suffering from food poisoning which affected me more,” Sneha in a statement.
Being the female lead of the show, Sneha is required to shoot for long hours at a stretch. Her costume is also said to weigh around 20 kg, which must have added to the exhaustion.
The actress says that having liquids helped her.
“Fortunately, my team is very co-operative and rushed me to my room and called for the doctor. They kept serving me liquids in between,” she added.
My wife most excited about my comeback on TV: Barun
Mumbai–Actor Barun Sobti says his wife Pashmeen Manchanda is most excited about his comeback on television.
He was last seen in the first season of “Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon” opposite Sanaya Irani five years ago. Soon, the audience will get to see him on the small screen in its third season.
Barun said in a statement: “I’ve done films, web series and short films, but TV gives me immense joy. Coming back on television is like homecoming. I personally don’t feel any difference in the medium that an actor works on, but having said that, my wife is most excited about my comeback on television especially with ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’.”
Barun, who will be seen as Advay Singh Raizada on the show, has already begun shooting for it here. It will air on Star Plus soon.
