BOSTON– Olympian Viren Rasquinha, former Indian Hockey Team Captain and CEO of OGQ, whose mission is to help Indian athletes and para-athletes win Olympic and Paralympic Gold medals.
Mr. Rasquinha was in Boston recently as part of the visiting OGQ delegation to US and spoke with INDIA New England News. He talks about the state of Indian sports, especially hockey and his lessons of life as an athlete.

Currently, he is Director and CEO of OGQ, a not-for-profit foundation, which supports training and preparation of athletes in India who have the potential of winning an Olympic medal.
The mission of the OGQ is to help Indian athletes and para athletes win Olympic and Paralympic Gold medals. The organization scouts for potential medal talent, identifies areas of support, and works with all stakeholders to aid deserving talent.
Mr. Rasquinha is an Olympian and former Captain of Indian Hockey team. He was bestowed India’s prestigious Arjuna Award in 2005. He completed MBA from Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad in 2009.
