BURLINGTON, MA—Out of more than 30, ten teams have been selected to participate in the semi-final Antakshari Competition on Jan. 7 in Lowell, MA. The competition is organized by India Association of Greater Boston, known as IAGB.
Four winners will go to the final live Antakshari Competition on IAGB-organized Republic Day celebrations on Jan. 28 at Burlington High School in Burlington, MA.
“India Association of Greater Boston is embarking on some exciting events for the upcoming Republic Day celebration Mela,” said IAGB President Jaya Voruganti. “One of them is the first ever New England wide Antakshari competition. Having successfully completed 8 rounds of prelim sessions, we have 10 teams ready to contest at the Semi-Finals before moving on to the Grand Finale on January 28th. Come join us for a fun, entertaining evening and watch Antakshari at the semi-finals.”
