Hyderabad– Telangana has a total of 1,07,218 engineering seats available across 171 colleges, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) announced on Sunday. Of these, 76,795 seats (approximately 70%) will be filled under the Convenor quota.
The announcement coincided with the start of the web option entry process for qualified candidates of TGEAPCET-2025 (Telangana Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test). Candidates can exercise their web options until July 10, while the last date for certificate verification is July 8.
So far, 76,494 candidates have completed certificate verification, and 95,654 have paid the processing fee and booked slots, according to Sridevasena, Commissioner of Technical Education and Convenor of TGEAPCET-2025.
Sridevasena advised candidates to exercise as many options as possible to improve their chances of securing admission to preferred colleges and courses in the first phase of allotment.
