WALTHAM, MA—Sindhis, who are originally from the Sindh province of Pakistan, are now spread all over the world. Many of them left Pakistan in 1947 after the partition of British India. Most Sindhi Hindus migrated to India.

It is estimated that there are about five million Sindhis outside Pakistan, mostly in India.

In an exclusive video interview with INDIA New England News, Sindhi expert Tikam Matai and Menka Jethra, president of Sindhi Association of New England, talks about endangered Sindhi language, Sindhi history and culture.
