WOBURN, MA– Sangeeta’s Bazaar, a New England destination of the latest fashion and trends, will feature a fashion show at the Annual Diwali Mela and Fall Bridal Expo on Sunday, Oct. 9, at Hilton Hotel in Woburn, MA, INDIA New England News announced.
“I will be highlighting my jewelry and my Saree collection, tailored for any occasion, such as formal cocktail parties, galas and weddings,” said Sangeeta Verma, founder of Sangeeta’s Bazaar. “Every piece in our collection is handpicked and selected.”
Sangeeta’s Bazaar is a one-stop shop of the latest fashion, and trends and includes items that are traditional and elegant with a contemporary touch.
The Diwali Mela and Bridal Expo is organized by INDIA New England News, the region’s largest and oldest online, print and video magazine. The expo, which is aimed at providing a single venue where attendees can do their Diwali shopping and meet the area’s premier wedding vendors, draws hundreds of people every year.
“We want to bring the ultimate shopping experience to our busy clients. We carry traditional kundan, Polki and also unique, modern jewelry, suitable for any occasion,” says Verma. “Along with jewelry we carry fashionable, trendy cocktail sarees with designer blouses. We specialize in stitched sarees, that are ready and hassle free to wear. My mission is to use my keen eye and love of fashion to allow the client to choose from a selection of the latest trends.”
Verma graduated with a degree in sociology and then studied fashion in New Delhi. In the United States, she managed her husband’s medical practice and raised her three kids.
“Now with time to myself, I have returned to my passion for fashion and design,” said Verma.
The event will bring together the region’s premier vendors in areas of fashion, design, jewelry, photography, videography, restaurant, wedding planners, decorators and henna experts.
The expo will open at 11:00 a.m. and will run through 4:00 p.m. on Oct. 9 at the Woburn Hilton. The hotel is also the platinum sponsor of the event. Silver sponsors include Alankar Event Planners & Decorators and Boston Sound and Light Co.
