Sachin-Jigar Reunite With Ayushmann Khurrana for ‘Udta Teer’ Track ‘Choozay’

Mumbai — Music composer duo Sachin-Jigar have reunited with Ayushmann Khurrana for the upcoming film “Udta Teer,” with Jigar Saraiya saying they wanted to create a fresh sound with a different energy for the film’s latest track, “Choozay.”

The song, composed by Sachin-Jigar, features vocals by Jigar alongside rapper Emiway Bantai and marks another collaboration between the composers and Khurrana.

“There’s always something exciting about coming back together with Ayushmann because we’ve shared a really fun musical journey over the years,” Jigar said.

“With ‘Choozay’, we wanted to do something that felt fresh and had a completely different energy. Getting to sing on it myself and collaborate with Emiway made the experience even more exciting. It’s a very different space for us, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how audiences react to it.”

“Choozay” blends Sachin-Jigar’s Bollywood sound with Bantai’s contemporary hip-hop style and Jigar’s vocals.

Khurrana and Sachin-Jigar previously worked together on “Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui,” for which the duo composed the music. Khurrana also sang “Maafi” for the film.

In “Udta Teer,” Khurrana plays Bilal Ahmad, a Pakistani spy who loses his memory. Sara Ali Khan stars alongside him.

The cast also includes Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, Mukul Dev, Suhail Nayyar, Raghubir Yadav, Brijendra Kala, Sandeep Anand, Supriya Pilgaonkar and Smita Tambe.

“Udta Teer” is scheduled to open in theaters Oct. 23 after its original Oct. 9 release date was postponed.

The filmmakers recently unveiled a new poster announcing the revised release date. The move gives the movie a less crowded theatrical window following the runs of films including “Drishyam: The Conclusion” and “The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest.” (Source: IANS)
