Rapper KARMA Says ‘Game Over’ Reflects Unpredictability of ‘Drishyam The Conclusion’
Mumbai — Rapper KARMA, who created the song “Game Over” for the upcoming film “Drishyam The Conclusion,” said the track reflects the unpredictability and mounting tension at the heart of the film.
The song brings a darker, confrontational energy to the world of Vijay Salgaonkar, capturing the sense that every decision carries consequences as the story moves toward its final chapter.
KARMA composed, wrote and performed the song, which was produced by KARMA and AK4EAL.
“‘Game Over’ started with the title itself. I wanted to make something that had attitude, but also felt connected to the world of the film,” KARMA said.
“There is a lot of unpredictability in Drishyam The Conclusion and I wanted the song to carry some of that energy without spelling everything out. I had a very clear sound in my head when I started writing it, so I ended up doing everything myself, the lyrics, composition and vocals.”
He said the finished track captured the feeling of a situation being pushed to its limits.
“Once it came together, it had that feeling of something being pushed right to the edge, which is exactly where I wanted the song to live,” KARMA said.
The track adds a contemporary rap sound to the franchise while reflecting the pressure and uncertainty surrounding Vijay Salgaonkar as events close in around him.
With the soundtrack exploring themes of revenge, emotion and confrontation, “Game Over” brings another darker and more unpredictable element to “Drishyam The Conclusion.”
