LEXINGTON, MA–Ragini Sinha Pathak, a Lexington resident, technology executive, entrepreneur, and beloved mother and wife, died peacefully after a courageous one-and-a-half-year battle with cancer. She was 53.
Known for her warmth, intelligence, and determination, Pathak built a distinguished career in product leadership and innovation, helping shape consumer technology, e-commerce, and clean energy companies while mentoring colleagues and advocating for women in leadership.
Most recently, Pathak served as a founding member and Senior Vice President of Product Management at Ohai.ai, an artificial intelligence startup focused on improving the lives of families. She later joined the company’s advisory board. Prior to that, she was co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Perch Energy, a Boston-based clean energy company.
Earlier in her career, Pathak led product teams at Rakuten Rewards, formerly Ebates, and spent six years at Care.com as Director of Product Management. Throughout her career, she was recognized as an accomplished product leader and innovator with a demonstrated track record of driving consumer acquisition, growth, and engagement across marketplaces, mobile, e-commerce, and clean technology platforms. Colleagues admired her ability to build simple, engaging products at scale while mentoring teams with empathy and vision.
Pathak was also a founding member of Chief, a national network dedicated to advancing women in leadership.
Born into a close-knit family, Pathak earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Economics from Rutgers University. Friends and loved ones remember her as deeply compassionate, intellectually curious, and fiercely devoted to those she loved.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Heeren Pathak; her sons, Devesh Pathak and Kaveesh Sinha Pathak; her beloved dog, April Pathak; her sister, Nalini Patwari; her brother, Avinash Gautam; and her mother, Dipti Sinha.
A celebration of Ragini’s life will be held Thursday, May 28, at 1 p.m. at Carrier Family Funeral Home in Windham, New Hampshire.
