SUDBURY, MA—BMW of Sudbury, one of the nation’s top BMW dealerships, has received Center of Excellence award, the most prestigious performance-based honor a BMW dealer can achieve in North America.
BMW of Sudbury General Manager Pranav Gill shared how his facility was able to achieve Center of Excellence status for the second time in three years.
“We’re excited beyond belief, as it’s a great honor to be categorized as the best of the best alongside some great dealerships around North America,” said Gill. “All year long the team is constantly focusing on what helps win this award. Everyone is proud of the hard work that went into achieving this.”
He said his dealership actually looks at the metrics almost every month to see how hey are tracking, where their shortcomings are and what they need to do to get back on track.
“The culture in our dealership says that anything we do, anything we accomplish, we do as a team. From service/parts to sales to accounting, everyone is concentrating on end results and doing it together,” said Gill. “It helps us overcome adversity and pushes everyone to do it better. Additionally, we not only want to be No. 1 in sales and aftersales but we also want to provide the client the best possible experience.”
Tom Shanley, Vice President, Eastern Region, BMW of North America, said that earning Center of Excellence is the most prestigious performance-based honor a BMW dealer can achieve.
“It takes discipline, consistency, and the highest level of commitment from every employee in the dealership,” said Shanley. “Over the course of a year our dealerships face a multitude of challenges from an ever-changing business climate. Through it all, these 35 BMW centers rose above and are now a part of an elite group.”
In 2017, Gill was named one of Automotive News’ 40 Under 40. This annual program honors 40 high achievers at new-car dealerships who are under 40 years old.
