WALTHAM, MA—INDIA New England News, the region’s premier online and print publication and the producer of its flagship annual Woman of the Year awards gala, today announced that Mondira (Mandy) Deb Pant and Aditi Taylor, Boston’s two emerging leaders in business and technology, will return this year as Masters of Ceremony of 13th Annual Woman of the Year Awards Gala, which is scheduled on Thursday, June 4 at Burlington Marriott Hotel in Burlington, MA.

Jharna Madan, a local community activist and local reporter for TV Asia, will also join Taylor and Pant to present a special segment during the event.

Pant received her Ph. D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, and B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from I.I.T Kharagpur in India, and a MS in Electrical Engineering.

In her current role of Academic Research Director at Intel, Pant loves working with leading academic researchers worldwide and technical experts at Intel to seed and drive research efforts in areas of strategic importance to Intel in particular and the computing industry in general. She is regarded as a very strong and motivating technical speaker having given numerous invited talks at various conferences and universities, including several keynote talks and distinguished lectures. She is an active proponent of STE(A)M for Women and young girls and has participated in various efforts in promoting it particularly in the New England area In 2009, Mandy was recognized by Mass High Tech as one of the top ten upcoming Women to Watch in the New England area. In 2013, she was recognized by the India New England News as one of the top 20 South Asian Women of 2013 in the New England area.

Taylor is a Principal with Deloitte & Touche LLP’s Risk Advisory practice with over 16 years of experience. She serves as a leader in the firm’s Life Sciences practice leading variety of engagements related to governance, ethics and compliance, risk and controls. She holds a BA Economics from University of Mumbai and a MBA from Bentley University, Waltham, MA. Taylor, who was named an emerging leader by the Boston Business Journal, is active in the New England cultural community.

Previously, she served on the board for Indian Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) for 6 years and for 4 years on the board of the New England Marathi Mandal (NEMM). She was a key member of the core leadership team that hosted the 32nd bi-annual Bruhan Maharashtra Mandal’s Convention at the Rhode Island Convention Center in 2013, attended by approximately 4,000 people from over 20 different countries. A stage and theater performer since the early age of 4, Taylor continues to nurture her passion for the cultural and performing arts and often directs, produces and performs in large musical and theater productions with participants of many ages.
