Palak Tiwari, Rapper King to Make OTT Debuts with Musical Crime Drama ‘Lukkhe’

Mumbai— Actress Palak Tiwari and rapper King are set to make their OTT debuts with the upcoming musical crime drama Lukkhe, which will premiere on May 8 on Prime Video.
The series, also featuring Raashii Khanna, Lakshvir Singh Saran, Nakul Roshan Sahdev, Kritika Bharadwaj, Shivankit Parihar, Yograj Singh, and Ayesha Raza Mishra, blends rap culture, ambition, crime, and action against the backdrop of Chandigarh.
Created by Agrim Joshi and Debojit Das Purkayastha, the makers described the project as a genre-blending “passion project” that combines high-energy action with rap music and emotional storytelling. “We set out to build a world where high-octane action, pulsating rap music, and raw human emotions come together seamlessly,” they said.
At its core, Lukkhe follows rival rappers MC Badnaam (played by King) and OG (played by Shivankit Parihar), whose personal rivalry escalates into a story of revenge and redemption, blurring the lines between art and conflict.
Produced by Vipul D. Shah and Rajesh Bahl under Optimystix Entertainment and White Guerrilla LLP, the series will stream exclusively on Prime Video across India and over 240 countries and territories.
Prime Video India’s Head of Originals, Nikhil Madhok, said the show reflects the platform’s focus on experimental storytelling. “Lukkhe brings together high-octane action with pulsating rap music, while balancing pace with emotional intensity,” he said.
The series will begin streaming on May 8, 2026.
