Milan Presents a Laugh Riot at its Hasya Kavi Samelan on Saturday in Billerica

BILLERICA, MA–Massachusetts Get Ready for a laugh riot filled Hasya Kavi Samelan this Saturday, Nov. 23, with three Indian poets: Maesh Dubey of Mumbai, Ras Bihari Gaud of Ajmer, and Ved Prakash of Delhi.

The Hasya Kavi Samelan is scheduled to start at 3:00 PM at Shiridi Sai Baba Temple, located at 267 Boston Road, #9, in Billerica, MA.

The Kavi Samelen is a celebration of Indian’s ancient gerontological humor in poetic presentation with a social message pertaining to Indian culture and heritage. This event is full of laughter and is different from the stand-up comedies.

Suresh Sharma, founder and Chairman of Milan Cultural Association said: “The uniqueness of this program is that it brings back the India in us. The unforgettable pride of Indian heritage, roots, sentiments, links, and sweet and bitter memories we carry with us since The India we left for foreign countries.”

Here are brief bios of poets who will participate in the Hasya Kavi Samelan in Billerica on Saturday.

Maesh Dubey

Dubey of Mumbai is a talented poet of hasya and vyang. By his poetry, he has entertained millions of people with his humor which contains a deep penetrating satire. He blends humour with satire artistically. This is his third visit to US. He has the capacity to present his humor in singging form also. He has written three books, is a regular columnist in Samna paper of Mumbai.

Ras Bihari Gaud

Gaud of Ajmer is a perfect blend of humor and laughter. This is his third visit to US. Writer of 3 books and 1 CD to his credit. He is known as a Laughter Machine. When he recites his poetry, you can hear nonstop laughters in the hall. He was first Runners up in the Laughter show of Star TY. He is a leading star in India and abroad.

Ved Prakash

Prakash of Delhi , is a leading poet of humor and satire. . From the podium, he will make you laugh and laugh and deliver the serious message too In the world of Hasya Kavita, where you are compelled to listen to jokes, he is easily distinguished by his satirical poems..This is his Third visit to US.” Hansi Khel Nahin” is the title of his lone book.

These featured poets have participated in India’s prestigious Kavi Samelans and have entertained the audience in Indonesia, Oman, Thailand, England, Hong Kong and Canada with their poetry.
