Medical options for anti-aging, hair restoration and skincare

rosy-sandhu-200x300BOSTON, MA—Anti-aging industry worldwide reached $291 billion in 2015, and 78 million baby boomers in the United States sought their fountain of youth.

In an exclusive video interview in Health Talk series, Dr. Rosy Sandhu, MD, founder of Neem Medical Spa & Wellness Center, talks about medical options for dealing with the aging process, which starts in early 20s.

She says although diet, exercise, sleep and genes are primarily responsible for ageing, one can take a few precautions to slow it down. She, also talks about hair restoration and anti-aging skincare, which she simplifies into three Fs: Foundation, Firming and Finish. In addition, she also talks about over the counter skincare products available.

Dr. Sandhu is scheduled to speak about this topic at the upcoming Mega Health and Wellness Expo, which will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2016, at Burlington Marriott Hotel in Burlington, MA.

The Expo is organized by INE MultiMedia, a non-profit company devoted to education, empowerment, enrichment and entertainment, in collaboration with INDIA New England News. It is sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Lahey Health, Cambridge Health Alliance and Neem Medical Spa.

Dr. Sandhu is the founding director of Neem Medical Spa & Wellness Center, and staff physician at Melrose Wakefield Hospital and Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Dr. Sandhu is a board-certified internal medicine physician with 10 years of hospital medicine experience. She has a special interest in Anti-Aging and Aesthetic medicine and has had years of training in advanced cosmetic procedures, and medical weight loss.

Dr. Sandhu completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Rochester General Hospital in NY, and has been practicing medicine for over a decade. She is certified by the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine in Aesthetics and Medical Weight Loss.

She is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and American Society of Bariatric Physicians, and has been chosen to be in the VIP Woman of the Year Circle by the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) for her leadership in healthcare.
