Mayur Mehta Joins WiTricity as Vice President of Semiconductor Products

Watertown, MA— WiTricity, a wireless power transfer over distance, announced two key management hires: Mayur Mehta, vice president of semiconductor products, and Kristina O’Connell, vice president of marketing.

Mehta will be working out of the company’s Austin Development Center and is charged with leading development of WiTricity’s semiconductor solutions. O’Connell is based at the organization’s Watertown headquarters and is responsible for increasing WiTricity’s brand awareness and recognition, especially as it relates to the semiconductor market and the numerous applications for wireless power.

Mehta brings with him decades of relevant expertise, having previously developed complex, mixed-signal integrated chips and systems leading the digital power management and engineering teams at Intersil, a market leader in power management and precision analog technology.

Mehta received his BS in electrical engineering at Bombay University in India and his MS in electrical engineering at Louisiana State University. O’Connell is a Salem State University graduate where she received her BS in business administration and marketing.
