BOSTON- TiE Boston, one of the region’s most active and inclusive communities supporting entrepreneurs, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) as a key sponsor for 2025. This sponsorship supports three flagship initiatives that cultivate the next generation of entrepreneurial talent and innovation:

  • TiE U Boston – a collegiate pitch competition and mentoring platform for student founders;
  • TiE Boston Women – a powerful network and resource hub for women entrepreneurs;
  • TiECON East 2025 – the premier conference for innovators, founders, and investors in the Northeast.

This partnership signals a shared commitment to nurturing inclusive innovation, strengthening workforce development, and amplifying support for emerging entrepreneurs across sectors, especially in life sciences and healthcare.

“We are thrilled to welcome the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center as a sponsor of TiE Boston’s programs,” said Purnanand Sarma, President of TiE Boston. “This collaboration not only strengthens our support for early-stage founders, women leaders, and student innovators, but also aligns with our shared vision for an inclusive and thriving innovation ecosystem in Massachusetts.”

The year-long sponsorship creates a valuable platform for cross-sector engagement. With the MLSC’s support, TiE Boston will extend its reach across university campuses, enhance its women’s programming, and elevate the regional conversation at TiECON East with greater representation from the life sciences community.

“The future for Massachusetts entrepreneurs and life science professionals remains bright thanks to the work of organizations like our partners at TiE Boston,” said MLSC President and CEO Kirk Taylor, MD. “We are grateful to form this strategic collaboration which will help accelerate opportunity, innovation, and inclusivity across our ecosystem.”

The benefits of this partnership extend to the entrepreneurship community at large. TiE Boston gains resources to scale impact and drive inclusive entrepreneurship, while the MLSC is positioned to connect with a broad and diverse pipeline of founders, innovators, and future leaders—many of whom are poised to shape the next chapter of life sciences in the Commonwealth.
