India’s IT and Telecommunications Minister to Visit Boston This Week

CHELMSFORD, MA—India’s Information Technology and Telecommunications Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad will be in Boston this week and plans to hold at least three meetings. He will be speaking at India Conference at Harvard over the weekend. On Friday, Feb. 5, he plans to meet Indian-Americans from the area.

The Feb. 6 event is organized by Indian Americans of Greater Boston in collaboration with Indian Consulate in New York. He will be meeting with the community members at 6:30 pm on Friday at the Radisson Hotel Chelmsford-Lowell Ballroom.

Boston Vichar Manch is also organizing a meeting with the minister on the same day at 3:00 pm. The group has not decided the venue yet for the meeting. The Vichar Manch meeting is aimed at interacting with the minister.

At the Vichar Manch event, the minister will deliver a speech followed by questions and answers on the topic: “Revolutionizing the Communications and IT industry for Transformational changes in India.”

Boston Vichar Manch is an intellectual platform to deliberate the contemporary and civilizational issues challenging the evolving societies across the world. The manch envisions inviting distinguished scholars, business leaders and spiritual masters to discuss spiritual renaissance and economic prosperity in the world.
