ANDOVER, MA— Indian Consul General New York office will hold a visa, passport and consular services facilitation camp on Saturday, Nov. 18, at Chinmaya Mission Center in Andover, MA, local organizers of the event said in a statement.
The organizers will also host a community reception for India’s new Consul General Sandeep Chakravorty and Deputy Consul General Paramita Tripathi. The event locally is organized and hosted by Global Indians for Bharat Vikas (GIBV), Milan USA, Chinmaya Mission, India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB), Art of Living Boston and other local organizations.

The statement said that under the new leadership of Consul General Sandeep Chakravorty and Deputy Consul General Paramita Tripathi, the Indian consulate, New York will be hosting an exceptional program- Consulate @ YourDoorstep in Massachusetts.
The facilitation camp is designed to help members of Indian diaspora with special needs of visa/ passport/ OCI applications. Indian Passport holders/US Passport holders who have applied for or are in the process of applying for Indian Passports/Visa/OCI Cards may come to the venue of the Camp and get their applications/supporting documents pre-approved before submitting to CKGS, the statement said.
Applications with all supporting documents would be examined at the Facilitation Camp and approved for submission to CKGS.
A special community reception will be held at Chinmaya Mission to welcome the new consul general and deputy consul general to Massachusetts on the same day, Saturday, November 18th, 2017. This event is free and open to all.
