BURLINGTON, MA–The Indian Americans for Burlington, known as IAB, is hosting first time ever Diwali celebrations on Burlington Commons in Burlington, MA, on Sunday, Oct. 15. Burlington has one of the highest populations of Indian-American in New England.
The IAB is a relatively new organization whose mission is to promote civic, charitable, community and educational activities.
This is the first time that Indian festival of Diwali will be celebrated at Burlington Commons. The celebrations will start at 3:00 PM and end at 6:00 PM on Oct. Sunday, Oct. 15. All Indian-Americans are invited to join this free event, which will include tree lighting ceremony, street-play, cultural programs, food and much more.
