IANH Kicks Off the Vasant Festival 2017, Sets Event Date on May 21

NASHUA, NH–IANH Vasant Festival 2017, which provides an opportunity to youth and all members of the community to present their talents, is scheduled for May 21 at Nashua High School North in Nashua, NH. The deadline for registration for performers and participants is April 30th, 2017. The festival is organized by India Association of New Hampshire, known as IANH.

“There will be competitive and non-competitive performances for music, dance, art and other talent like stand-up comedy, poetry or acting,” Jyoti Sharma, one of the IANH volunteers, said in a statement. “There will also be many vendor tables from info booths to clothing and jewelry to delicious food to be enjoyed, besides the youth awards and the trophies for the winners of dance and art competitions.”

All age groups are invited to participate and show off their talent in this event that attracts hundreds of people every year to join and celebrate the spirit of spring. The spring festival will be held on Sunday May 21, 2017 at Nashua High School North located at 8 Titan Way, in Nashua, NH.

The registration is now open for following categories:

Competitive Bollywood Group dance,

Non-Competitive Classical or Non-classical / Bollywood Group dance,

Non-Competitive Music Solo/Group performances,

Competitive Arts exhibition,

Non-competitive Arts exhibition,

Non-Competitive Stand-up comedy / Poetry / Special Talent etc.
