IAGB’s Republic Day Celebrates the Legacy “Jashn Virasat Ka” This Saturday

BURLINGTON, MA–The India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) and the Indian American community in the New England area is all set to celebrate India’s 74th Republic Day this Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023 at Burlington High School in Burlington, MA.

A grand event ‘Celebrating the Legacy – Jashn Virasat Ka’ will take place from 1:00 PM to 8:PM pm. Dr. Manju Sheth, President of INE Multimedia, will grace the occasion as the chief guest of honor.

IAGB invites everyone to join in the festivities. As usual, entry to the cultural programs is FREE.

Over 300 people of all ages have signed up in different categories of competitions and these competitions will be underway from 1:00 PM onwards. The stage extravaganza will start at 4:00 PM, featuring some of the best dance troupes in the New England area.

This segment will cover spectacular dances of various styles and originating in different parts of the India. It will be followed by the first of its kind fashion show in New England – ‘Classy to Trendy’. Watch for the fabulously dressed men and women on the stage representing the best attire choices.

The winners of all the competitions will be announced and felicitated at the hands of leaders in the Indian American community during the program as well. New England Kannada Koota will receive special recognition for 50 years of continued community service.

Sumptuous food options will be available on the venue by Paani restaurant. No mela is complete without shopping for our favorite things and there will be plenty of shopping opportunities. Local vendors as well as educations booths will be presented by local organizations and businesses.
