IAGB Hosts 3D Printing Workshop to Inspire STEM Learning

BURLINGTON, MA— The India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) brought together students, families, and community members for a hands-on 3D printing workshop aimed at introducing emerging technology and encouraging interest in STEM fields.
The interactive program gave participants practical experience in 3D design, modeling, and printing, allowing students to create their own take-home objects while learning real-world applications of the technology. Organizers said the workshop was designed to spark curiosity and build confidence among young learners exploring tech-driven careers.
“Workshops like this empower our next generation to think creatively and embrace innovation,” said Sandeep Asija of Asija Properties, who attended as guest of honor.
The event featured collaboration with IIT AGNE, whose members provided technical guidance and mentorship throughout the session. The workshop was led by Prashant Kulkarni and supported by a team of volunteers.
“Our goal is to bring families together through programs that inspire, educate, and strengthen community connections,” said IAGB President Nilesh Agrawal. “This workshop reflects IAGB’s commitment to empowering youth and fostering a culture of innovation.”
Founded in 1962, IAGB continues to host cultural, educational, and civic programs across New England.
