CHICAGO– Hub International Limited, a global insurance brokerage and financial services firm, has acquired the assets of Tanna Insurance Inc, the company said in a statement. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Located in Woburn, Massachusetts, Tanna Insurance is an independent insurance agency providing commercial and personal insurance. Dinesh Tanna, Chief Executive Officer, and the rest of the Tanna Insurance team will join Hub New England.
HUB is one of the largest Brokers in the country but their model is to have a small home office and strong offices locally in the communities they serve. Hub’s reputation, culture, deep resources and focus on clients and operating philosophy were all important factors in our decision to join the HUB team. They understand and respect the importance of local relationships and insurance carrier focus.
HUB brings us access to many more insurance markets, claims advocacy and independent safety/loss control teams to help clients regardless of the carrier they choose. Additionally, they have deep employee benefits insurance and retirement services expertise for clients who prefer to have an option for a single source solution or a la carte at their clients preference.
As part of the HUB International family, Tanna Insurance will be able to draw upon the resources to provide our client expertise of an international insurance brokerage while retaining our commitment to local client service. We will be able to offer a broader array of products and increased access to specialty insurance in a convenient way.
