LOWELL, MA—After the success of India’s Heritage Festival in Lowell last year, the Gujarati Association of New England, known as Gurjar, is bringing back the festival again at the Heritage Park on Pawtucket Boulevard in Lowell, MA. The event is free to all attendees.

Last year, the event was attended by Approximately 4,000 people.

“Back by popular demand, after a huge success and tremendous response from the community and the desire from the Lowell city officials, that we continue and make this an annual event,” Gurjar Secretary Rachana Shah said in a statement. “What was supposed to be a one-time 40th anniversary special is back this year for everyone and anyone who might have missed it last year.”

Gurjar’s India Heritage Festival will be held on Saturday, September 15th. Ms. Organizers said it will be a fun filled day on the river front with variety of food, fun shopping, raffles and continuous entertainment.

Contact Rachana at 603-812-1596 or Parul 978-459-2095 if you wish to participate in any way. You can also contact organizers at Gurjar.information@gmail.com or visit their website:  WWW.Gurjar.org for details.
