Democrat- Attorney General for New Jersey
Gurbir S. Grewal is the sixty-first Attorney General for the state of New Jersey. He is the first Sikh Attorney General in the United States. Before being confirmed by the New Jersey State Senate Grewal was a successful prosecutor for Bergen County.
Grewal is the son of Indian immigrants and spent all of his life, besides university, in New Jersey. Grewal recieved his B.A. from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service and then his J.D. from the College of William and Mary. Grewal is married to his wife Amrit and together they have three children.
