“After a successful meeting in the spring, we are excited to welcome Punita Sinha, the next speaker for the Indian Women Physician’s Forum,” Dr. Deepa Jhaveri, co-chair of the Indian Women Physician’s Forum, said in a statement. “As professional women and mothers / wives we all get caught up with work and the trillion other responsibilities we have.  In this era of managing multiple roles, we tend to neglect some very vital responsibilities – our finances.”

Sinha will provide some basic tips to incorporate in otherwise busy lives to keep a handle on one’s finances.

“She hopes that we all walk away with bits of wisdom and knowledge,” Jhaveri said. “We hope to learn financial gems that we can instill in our lives to help improve the long term financial health of ourselves and our entire family.”

Dr. Manju Sheth, MD, co-chair of the Indian Women Physician’s Forum, said Sinha is one of the most well-known experts in the financial world.

“Women need to be very savvy about their financial affairs but sadly some do not take an active role in financial decisions in their family,” said Dr. Sheth. “I am looking forward to Punita’s financial pearls of wisdom very eagerly.”

Sinha is a managing partner at Pacific Paradigm Advisors.  Her past experience includes being a senior professional with over 25 years of experience in investment management in emerging and international markets.

Sinha has led teams and business units focused on Asian funds. She is viewed as a leading expert on India. She has served as an Independent Director for several companies and an advisor for few companies. She has been a speaker at many conferences and for the media on emerging markets.
