JAIPUR — Donald Trump Jr., son of U.S. President Donald Trump, is set to arrive in Udaipur on Friday evening for a three-day visit to attend a lavish wedding in the lake city.

Trump Jr. will stay at a luxury hotel overlooking Lake Pichola, where all 82 rooms and three premium suites have been fully reserved for him and the wedding party from November 21 to 23. He is slated to reside in the Maharaja Suite, priced at Rs 10 lakh per night, while the Royal Suite, costing Rs 7 lakh per night, has also been booked for the festivities.

The wedding, scheduled for November 23, will be held at a palace situated in the middle of Lake Pichola. The celebrations are for Netra Mantena, daughter of American billionaire Rama Raju Mantena, and Vamsi Gadiraju, an American-born groom.

Hotel access for general guests has been restricted during the stay, and a dedicated internal corridor has been created for Trump Jr.’s movement. A U.S. Secret Service team and local police have been deployed at the property. Luxury vehicles bearing Haryana registration plates have been brought in exclusively for guest transportation, replacing all hotel-operated cars.

Trump Jr. is expected to land at Dabok Airport at 5:15 p.m. on a chartered flight and head directly to the hotel before attending a musical performance at Zenana Mahal at 6 p.m. He will take part in additional wedding events on November 22 and 23.

The celebrations began Thursday with a welcome dinner hosted by actress Amyra Dastur, which featured performances by Rajasthani Manganiyar musicians. Several Bollywood celebrities — including Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Vaani Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and filmmaker Karan Johar — are expected to arrive on four chartered flights for the festivities.

The hotel’s interiors showcase elaborate gold work on its walls and ceilings, complemented by silver detailing in the bedrooms and kitchen. Guests will enjoy panoramic views of Lake Pichola along with a curated selection of international cuisines throughout their stay.

Officials said high-level security and special arrangements have been put in place as Udaipur prepares to host a wave of high-profile attendees. (Source: IANS)
