BOSTON—Din Check, New England’s local desi Bollywood band, will present “Fursat Kanha” song at the 21st annual Woman of the Year Awards gala on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Burlington Marriott Hotel in Burlington, MA.
The band released its its first original song Fursat Kanha (Where is the Spare Time/Leisure) earlier this year, delivering a strong message about slowing down to smell the flowers on the journey of life.
The video song depicts two individuals, too busy in the race, who have no time or leisure to enjoy the small joys of life.
Din Check, which was started by three friends Sam Bhambhani, Jolly Bhatia, and Sam Rao 13 years ago, has now been performing all over the east coast. Din Check is a true success story of a desi band in America as it has won many hearts with their music and friendships.
