WALTHAM, MA—Dubbed as “Shedding the Weight: Mind, Body and Spirit” Deepak Chopra and Oprah Winfrey have once again teamed together to launch a fitness-inspired mediation and weight loss program. The free 21-day program will kick off online on Monday, March 21, 2016.

“Experience more energy, creativity, and light in every facet of your life! Join Oprah & Deepak to embark on an inspirational meditation journey that will last a lifetime, as you discover what truly nourishes your entire being and lift the heaviness that has held you back from being your best self, according to the Chopra Center website. “Experience the freedom that comes from stabilizing physical hunger, alleviating mental unrest, and satisfying spiritual longing.”

The website said that transformation begins on Monday, March 21st in Oprah and Deepak’s all-new, free 21-Day Meditation Experience, Shedding the Weight: Mind, Body and Spirit. Registration for the course is scheduled to begin on Thursday, Feb. 18.

Oprah has lost 26 pounds and Chopra has shed 20 pounds with meditation, mindful eating and yoga, reported Health Aim newsportal.

“Chopra says yoga promotes natural weight loss through stress reduction. According to Chopra, stress disrupts the appetite regulating hormones ghrelin and leptin, and also leads to belly fat storage,” Health Aim said.

Titled “Shedding the Weight: Mind, Body and Spirit,” the Oprah Winfrey-Deepak Chopra meditation experience is the tenth meditation program from the pair, according to Health Aim.

“I have learned that weight can affect more than just our physical being, it takes on all kinds of different meaning in our lives,” Health Aim quoted Oprah as saying. “This meditation will help us recognize what we are really hungry for and help us move down the path to harmony within ourselves.”

“I was inspired by Oprah’s dramatic weight loss and her sensible approach to it,” says Chopra, according to People magazine. He describes Oprah’s approach as “getting into balance at all levels.”
