Balancing act: Shilpa Shetty Kundra pulls off one-leg squat on bench
Mumbai– Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who was recently seen in the film ‘Sukhee’, is giving a fitness mantra.
On Monday, the actress took to her Instagram and shared a video of herself doing one-leg squat on a bench.
In the video, Shilpa can be seen wearing gym wear and pulling off the balancing act while fully focused.
The actress wrote in the caption: “Give me any ‘RAMP and I will make it my OWN. Sab Balance ka khel hai ! A great Leg workout in style.”
Shilpa further mentioned, “Took me a couple of tries to get the whole drill, but it’s challenging and really works the quads and glutes. Try it out and tag me. Let’s see how many can complete it.”
Earlier, the actress rocked the emerald colour with her latest outfit. She sported an emerald coloured outfit, which she paired with a cream coloured shroud with floral patterns.
Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is known for ‘Super Deluxe’ took to the comments section and lauded Shilpa’s choice of outfit. She wrote, “Wow”.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shilpa is gearing up for the Kannada movie ‘KD – The Devil’ which also stars Sanjay Dutt and Jisshu Sengupta.
Big B recalls the day he brought daughter Shweta home to his bungalow Prateeksha
Mumbai– Veteran Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan said that family is the greatest bond one could have.
The actor took to his blog on Monday and spoke about his daughter Shweta Bachchan’s 50th birthday as he got nostalgic.
Amitabh recalled bringing Shweta to his bungalow Prateeksha, when she was just two years old.
He said that she celebrated her 50th birthday, surrounded by family members.
The actor also shared the updates including the “progress reports”.
Big B wrote: “A day filled with the love of family and the greetings and the hilarity of the ‘progress reports’…(rolling on the floor laughing emoji)…Birthdays galore… Shweta, the firstborn, and Nikhil, her husband… within a day of each other and the bringing in of the GOLDEN age – 50 years.”
The bungalow, which is situated in the Juhu area of Mumbai was reportedly gifted to Shweta by Big B in 2023.
The actor further mentioned, “At Prateeksha, she was brought to the home, our first home of our own, when she was barely 2, and Abhishek a few months old… and today to see them celebrate the day in the same home on the same table and surroundings … LIFE IS A WONDER. Children and grandchildren all together.”
Jackky reveals he’ll be back on big screen after ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’
Mumbai– Actor and producer Jackky Bhagnani has said he will stage a comeback to the silver screen soon.
Bhagnani, who has been in the news more for his recent wedding to Rakul Preet Singh, said his return to acting will happen after the release of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’.
He said this on the sidelines of the rollout of recyclable plastic benches at a Mumbai school on Global Recycle Day 2024.
Of course, Bhagnani was quick to add, “But right now I have only one focus till Eid and that is ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’.”
Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, and with a star cast led by Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, Manushi Chhillar, Sonakshi Sinha, Alaya F and Prithviraj Sukumaran, BMCM is being billed as the biggest release this Eid.
When asked about Holi, which is round the corner, Bhagnani said, “I love Holi, but I haven’t played Holi in the last couple of years because I know we waste a lot of water during the festival. So, we play Holi with basic herbal colours and eat good food.”
Delving into the theme of Global Recycle Day, Bhagnani stressed the urgency of climate change. He said, “Climate change is not a myth, this is happening right now, summers are hotter and winters are colder; icebergs are melting, untimely rainfall is happening, so this is really important. We all are learning what we must do, and when I got the opportunity to come here and promote recycling, we made a bench here by recycling plastic. If that adds one per cent to general awareness, I think it is an honour.”
