Sara drops unseen pic with ‘Kedarnath’ co-star Sushant on actor’s 4th death anniversary

Mumbai– Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan, who was recently seen in the streaming movie ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’, remembered late actor Sushant Singh Rajput on his fourth death anniversary on Friday.

The actress took to the Stories section of her Instagram and shared a throwback picture with Sushant, her co-star in ‘Kedarnath’ (2018).

In the picture, Sushant can be seen praying to god with folded hands with Sara seated next to him.

The actress did not write anything on the picture but added the song ‘Namo Namo’ from ‘Kedarnath’.

Sara made her debut in 2018 with ‘Kedarnath’ opposite Sushant. The film, based on devastating floods in Uttarakhand in 2013, follows the inter-faith love story between a wealthy Brahmin girl (Sara) and a Muslim boy (Sushant).

Sushant was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020, during the first Covid-induced lockdown. No suicide note was found on the site.

Ajay Devgn-starrer ‘Singham Again’ to clash with ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ this Diwali

Mumbai– The makers of ‘Singham Again’, starring Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, and Kareena Kapoor, have locked the release date of the film for Diwali this year.

The film was earlier scheduled to hit theaters on August 15.

The date change means ‘Singham Again’, which also features Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor, will clash with the Kartik Aaryan-led horror comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, which is also releasing on Diwali.

Taking to social media, filmmaker Rohit Shetty shared a poster featuring the film’s title and the names of the star cast.

In the caption, Rohit wrote: “Sher aatank machata hai, zakhmi sher tabahi! See you in the cinemas once again… This Diwali.”

Devgn wrote: “#SinghamAgain roaring this Diwali 2024 (sic).”

On Thursday, during the trailer release of his upcoming film ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’, Ajay shared an update on the film: “Some work on the film is still left, we have to shoot some parts. It’s a big film, and we don’t want to do things in haste. Jaldbaazi mein kaam kharab hota hai and we don’t want that to happen (things often take a turn for the worse when done in haste, and we don’t want that to happen with our film).”

‘Singham Again,’ directed by Rohit Shetty, is the fifth film in his cop universe and the third of the ‘Singham’ franchise, with Devgn reprising his role as the fearless cop.

It is produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez with Reliance Entertainment, Jio Studios and Devgn Films.

‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is directed by Anees Bazmee. The movie also stars Triptii Dimri and is the third instalment of the ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ franchise.

Akshay Kumar sports rugged look with stubble, polygonal shades in ‘Sarfira’ poster

Mumbai– Actor Akshay Kumar on Friday took to Instagram and shared the poster of his upcoming movie ‘Sarfira’.

The poster shows the actor with a rugged look. He sports a pair of polygonal sunglasses and a stubble as he looks up in the sky as his sunglasses reflect the aircraft above him.

The text on the poster reads, “Dream so big, they call you crazy.”

The actor wrote in the caption: “The story of a man who dared to dream big! And for me, this is a story, a character, a film, an opportunity of a lifetime! #Sarfira trailer out on June 18. Catch Sarfira on July 12, only in cinemas.”

The film is an inspiring drama that delves into the dynamic world of start-ups and aviation. It also stars Paresh Rawal, Radhika Madan, and Seema Biswas in pivotal roles.

‘Sarfira’, directed by the National Award-winning director Sudha Kongara, is a Hindi remake of her Tamil film ‘Soorarai Pottru’, which starred Suriya and Aparna Balamurali. The film was inspired by events from the life of G. R. Gopinath, founder of the Indian low-cost airline Simplifly Deccan.

‘Sarfira’ is written by Sudha and Shalini Ushadevi, with dialogue by Pooja Tolani.

Produced by Aruna Bhatia of Cape of Good Films, South superstars Suriya and Jyotika (2D Entertainment), and Vikram Malhotra (Abundantia Entertainment), the film is set to release in theatres on July 12.

Ankita Lokhande remembers Sushant Singh Rajput; drops unseen pic of actor with his dog Fudge

Mumbai– Actress Ankita Lokhande Jain remembered the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR) on his fourth death anniversary by sharing an unseen picture of the ‘Kai Po Che!’ star with his pet dog ‘Fudge’.

Ankita was in a romantic relationship with her ‘Pavitra Rishta’ co-star, SSR, from 2010 until they parted ways in 2016.

On his death anniversary, Ankita took to Instagram stories and shared a picture of Sushant wearing a grey sleeveless T-shirt and shorts, standing behind his favourite furry friend ‘Fudge,’ who is seen sitting in front of him.

The ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ actress did not write a caption for the post but added the tune of ‘Heartbeat’ by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy from the movie ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho.’

On June 14, 2020, Sushant was found dead at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai, reportedly having committed suicide. The dog was taken to Patna, Bihar, by the late actor’s father and passed away three years after Sushant’s death.

Actress Adah Sharma, known for ‘The Kerala Story’, now lives in Sushant’s former residence in the Mont Blanc Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai.

On the personal front, Ankita is married to businessman Vicky Jain. The couple participated in the controversial reality show ‘Bigg Boss 17.’

Ankita recently featured in the movie ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’ alongside Randeep Hooda, who played the titular character in the biographical drama. (IANS)
