Rakul Preet Singh Says Working With Friends Made ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ Easier

MUMBAI, India — Rakul Preet Singh says sparks flew more easily behind the scenes of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do because she was working with familiar faces.

The actress has reunited with Ayushmann Khurrana, her co-star from Doctor G, and director Mudassar Aziz, who previously directed her in Mere Husband Ki Biwi. Singh said that comfort made the new film’s set feel more relaxed and fun.

“I think what felt different this time reuniting was that there was an ease of working because obviously it’s not your first time and you know the way an actor or a director approaches the film and their scenes and I think that comfort and ease really helps in having a good time on set so absolutely yes familiarity does change your approach of as it makes it simpler and more fun and you know you’re already friendly with everybody, so I think it’s just easier when you work with friends,” Singh said in a statement.

The comedy also stars Sara Ali Khan and Wamiqa Gabbi in major roles.

Set in Prayagraj, the film follows a wedding that spirals into comic chaos after one decision triggers a wild chain of misunderstandings, suspicion and confusion.

Directed by Aziz, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Renu Ravi Chopra and Krishan Kumar, with Juno Chopra serving as creative producer.

The film is scheduled to be released May 15, 2026.

Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan Trade Playful Jabs Ahead of Box Office Showdown

MUMBAI, India — Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan are turning a box office clash into a friendly social media showdown.

Kapoor’s Peddi, co-starring Ram Charan, is set to hit theaters June 4, while Dhawan’s Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is scheduled to arrive one day later on June 5.

Kapoor stirred up the buzz by posting a transformation video on Instagram and teasing her former co-star.

“Guess we’re clashing bitch @varundvn,” Kapoor wrote.

Dhawan quickly fired back with affection instead of rivalry.

“Omg it’s never a clash with u only and u are wow,” he commented.

He also reposted the video and wrote, “It’s only a clash off with you @janhvikapoor u are looking wow in pedi. can’t wait to watch my friend.”

Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, directed by David Dhawan, stars Varun Dhawan with Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde. The comedy’s cast also includes Rakesh Bedi, Mouni Roy, Chunky Panday, Jimmy Shergill and Maniesh Paul.

Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, stars Ram Charan and Kapoor, with Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma and Jagapathi Babu also playing key roles. The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.

Rashmika Mandanna Wraps Grueling Kerala Shoot for ‘Mysaa’

MUMBAI, India — Rashmika Mandanna has finished a long Kerala schedule for her upcoming drama Mysaa, and she made sure to give her hardworking crew a public shoutout.

The actress shared a short Instagram Stories video with members of the film’s team after wrapping the shoot for the Rawindra Pulle-directed project.

“Guys a lil update is that we successfully wrapped up a long schedule for #Mysaa in Kerala!! And these were some of the darlings who worked so so hard and made it all possible! Thankyou guys.. and I’ll see you soon again on set! @rawindrapulle @unformulafilms,” Mandanna wrote.

Mysaa is expected to show a tougher side of the star, who reportedly trained for more than eight hours a day in Bangkok for action-heavy sequences. She will play a tribal Gond girl in the film, marking a first for her career.

The cast also includes Eshwari Rao, Guru Somasundaram and Rao Ramesh in key roles.

Mandanna’s packed slate also includes Cocktail 2, co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, and the period drama Ranabaali with Vijay Deverakonda.

Ajay Devgn Takes Financial Integrity Pledge as ‘Raid’ Hangover Continues

MUMBAI, India — Ajay Devgn appears to still have a little Raid energy left in him.

The Bollywood star threw his support behind the Enforcement Directorate’s campaign against financial crime, saying he had taken a pledge for financial integrity.

“I’ve taken the pledge for financial integrity. It’s time we stand together against financial crime. Are you with me? Let’s protect our nation! @dir_ed,” Devgn wrote on X.

The post comes as the ED continues to pursue high-profile cases involving alleged money laundering, tax evasion and financial fraud.

The agency has also been probing Raj Kundra in connection with the Gain Bitcoin Ponzi scheme. Kundra has appeared in court and was granted bail after summons, while contesting the allegations.

Devgn, meanwhile, is also gearing up for more big-screen madness. The actor will next be seen in Golmaal 5, with a new Ooty schedule already underway.

He recently shared a playful update from the set with Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Sharman Joshi, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Kemmu, teasing that this ride will be bigger — and the entertainment even bigger.

Pooja Hegde Says She Predicted Vijay’s Big Election Win

MUMBAI, India — Pooja Hegde is taking a victory lap of her own after claiming she saw Vijay Thalapathy’s political triumph coming.

The actress shared a behind-the-scenes video from the set of Jana Nayagan, where she appeared to jokingly predict that Vijay would win the Tamil Nadu Assembly election.

In the clip, Hegde pointed to a whiteboard question reading, “Who wins the elections?” before standing in front of Vijay and winking, clearly hinting that he and his party would come out on top.

Vijay, visibly embarrassed, blushed, covered his face and walked away.

“Guess I called it before it happened? Here’s to dreams turning into reality, Vijay sir @actorvijay,” Hegde wrote.

She also congratulated him on Instagram Stories, writing, “Congratulations actor Vijay sir. This Thalapathy Kacheri is just getting bigger and bigger. Onwards and upwards only. Party time. Let’s gooo.”

Vijay’s win was especially dramatic because it marked his first election. The actor-turned-politician won both Perambur in Chennai and Tiruchirappalli East.
