Mrunal Thakur believes in not skipping meals & sticking to small portions

Mumbai– Actress Mrunal Thakur follows the “grandma diet”, which she describes as eating what the family has always eaten, with a balance of understanding of portions and nutrition.

Talking to IANS, Mrunal shared what her normal life looks like and details about her diet.

Mrunal said: “I’m a very family person. They’re always my number one. Spending quality time at home and having home cooked meals is what I prefer the most.”

The actress added: “Of course being an actor isn’t possible, but when I’m out, I eat a balanced meal, I don’t skip anything, but rather balance it and stick to proportions.”

Mrunal said that is what she has been taught.

The actress added: “I have a brilliant trainer, who pushes me to do my best work out and always allows me to reward myself with food that I truly do enjoy eating.”

“My diet usually is what we call a ‘grandma diet’, it’s essentially eating what your family has always eaten, with a balance of understanding of portions and nutrition,” said Mrunal.

On the work front, Mrunal will next be seen sharing screen space with Vijay Deverakonda in ‘Family Star’, which is directed by Parasuram.

Kareena aka Jasmine shares BTS pics ahead of ‘Crew’ release

Mumbai– Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is all geared up for the release of ‘Crew’ has shared some behind-the-scenes pictures from the set of the movie, amping up the excitement for the fans to watch the film.

The trailer of ‘Crew’ gives a glimpse of what’s about to unfold in the female buddy comedy film as three air hostesses take off on a thrilling journey in a bid to pull off a heist. The film stars Tabu and Kriti Sanon, alongside Kareena.

Taking to Instagram, where ‘Bebo’ enjoys 12.1 million followers, shared a string of photos, wherein we can see Kareena, who plays Jasmine, is dressed as an air hostess.

There is a sneak peek into her hair styling session and some random selfies from the set of the movie.

The post is captioned as: “Crew-fies #3daystogo”.

The movie also has special appearances by Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma.

Backed by Balaji Telefilms and Anil Kapoor Film & Communications Network, ‘Crew’ is directed by Rajesh A Krishnan. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on March 29.

Akshay opens up about his career arc, says he likes ‘jumping from one genre to another’

Mumbai– Akshay Kumar, who will be seen in an action avatar in the upcoming film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, revealed he loves to jump from one genre to another as he himself gets bored by doing the same thing.

During the trailer launch of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ in Mumbai on Tuesday, Akshay said: “I don’t like to stick to one genre. I like jumping from one genre to another, whether success or not, I have always done that from the beginning of my career and nothing has stopped me. I will keep doing that, something which is social, something which is comedy, something which is action, I will keep doing different genres.”

Akshay, who was last seen in ‘Mission Raniganj’, shared: “Today if people say comedy and action films are in trend, that doesn’t mean I should only be doing that. I myself get bored doing one thing.”

“That is the reason I have always tried to do something new every time, whether it is ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, ‘Airlift’, or ‘Rustom’. ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ is one film wherein we have put in a lot of hard work and I am hoping this film is going to bring good luck to all of us,” he added.

Presented by Vashu Bhagnani and Pooja Entertainment in association with AAZ films, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ is written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and Ali Abbas Zafar.

The film features Prithviraj Sukumaran in an intriguing villainous role, along with Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F.

Rashmika Mandanna shares update on her pet dog ‘Aura’: ‘She is chilling in Mysore’

Mumbai– Rashmika Mandanna on Tuesday shared a cute update about her pet dog Aura, saying she is happily chilling in Mysore with her parents.

The diva, who was most recently seen in the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer ‘Animal’ took to Instagram Stories and shared an adorable picture of her furry friend Aura, who is sitting on a couch and posing for the cameras.

Mumbai– Actress Hina Khan has shared a glimpse of her ‘simple and elegant’ traditional look, shelling ethnic fashion goals to her huge fandom.

The ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ fame actress, who enjoys 19.1 million followers on Instagram, shared a series of pictures wearing an ethnic suit.

Hina is donning a beige-coloured kurta, matching palazzos with golden embroidery work on it. She paired the suit with a magenta pink-coloured heavily embroidered dupatta.

For the makeup, she opted for– matte pink lips, black eyeliner, mascara, thick brows, and blushed cheeks. She kept her straight hair open. For the accessories, she sported golden and pink jhumkas and a ring.

Priyanka Chopra says her Holi was ‘lit’, shares celebration pictures

Mumbai– Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who was last seen in the global streaming series ‘Citadel’, has shared pictures from her Holi celebrations in India.

On Tuesday, the actress took to her Instagram and shared pictures and videos from her celebrations.

The pictures feature her husband, singer-songwriter Nick Jonas, their daughter, Malti Marie, and Priyanka’s mom.

Priyanka wrote in the caption: “Holi was lit. Thank you @tam2cul @sudeepdutt for creating such a warm atmosphere for our family! So much fun.”

The actress geo-tagged Noida as the location for her Holi celebrations.

The first picture shows Priyanka holding her daughter, while standing next to Nick looking at him with love.

Earlier, the actress teased her upcoming documentary at a Prime Video event in Mumbai.

The documentary, produced by Priyanka, is titled ‘Women of My Billion’, and showcases the struggles, dreams, rights, and fight against all forms of violence that unite women in India.

The film follows Srishti’s journey of 3,800 km over 240 days, from Kanyakumari in South India to Kashmir in the North.

It has been told through the lens of the UN SDG Changemaker Award winner and activist, and gives a unique perspective on the group that deserves to be respected, empowered, and protected.

Talking to the media, Priyanka had said: “The documentary raises an important question on violence against women which is not just an India issue but a global issue.”

Ranbir Kapoor practises archery, poses with coach for upcoming ‘Ramayana’ film

Mumbai– Ranbir Kapoor, who is basking in the success of his blockbuster film ‘Animal’, is currently undergoing training for archery.

Pictures from his meeting with an archery coach have surfaced on social media, and it immediately points to his film ‘Ramayana’.

As per the media reports, the film has been in the pre-production for a long time and has witnessed delays given the scale of its production and the casting.

While Ranbir will essay the role of Lord Ram in the film, actress Sai Pallavi will be seen as Sita.

The pictures have been shared on X (formerly called Twitter), by a fan who claimed that the pictures are from Ranbir’s prep for ‘Ramayana’.

In the pictures, Ranbir can be seen posing with the archery coach, some arrows kept on the table are also visible in one of the pictures.

Ranbir, who is known to undergo thorough preparations for his role, is getting into the groove of the character of Lord Ram.

In another picture that has surfaced online, Ranbir was seen performing a headstand in the gym. The image was posted by his trainer Nam. (IANS)
