Krishna Shroff Reveals the Fitness Rules Behind Her Strength and Confidence

Mumbai — Fitness entrepreneur and reality TV personality Krishna Shroff has shared the principles she follows to build physical strength and mental resilience.

Shroff, daughter of Jackie Shroff and sister of Tiger Shroff, said discipline and consistency matter more than motivation or pushing at maximum intensity during every workout.

“Motivation is temporary. Discipline is what gets you up when the motivation is completely gone,” she said.

She said showing up consistently, even at reduced intensity, can produce better long-term results than occasional all-out workouts followed by burnout.

Shroff also credited strength training with improving both her fitness and confidence.

“Strength training changed my body, but more than that, it changed how I carry myself,” she said. “There is something that happens to your confidence when you realise what your body is actually capable of.”

She also stressed the importance of recovery, including sufficient sleep, rest days and active recovery.

Shroff said fitness has helped her build resilience in other areas of her life as well.

“Everything I have built — from my fitness journey and MFN to my business ventures — has required me to get back up after being knocked down,” she said. “The gym taught me that.”

Mumbai — Actress Karishma Tanna has bid farewell to August with a throwback post, sharing memories from last year while celebrating the newest addition to her family.

Tanna posted a series of photos on Instagram featuring moments with her husband Varun Bangera from a 2025 vacation, along with pictures from the early stages of her pregnancy.

“Also cherishing August 2025 Dump. Since 2026 August is filled with the newest member of our Family. Hello Sept,” she wrote.

Tanna and Bangera welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on July 29. The couple announced the news in a joint Instagram post, calling their son their “greatest blessing.”

“Born on the sacred day of Guru Purnima… Our greatest blessing is here,” they wrote.

Tanna and Bangera began dating in 2021 and married in Mumbai in 2022 after meeting at a New Year’s Eve gathering.

The actress is known for television shows including “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi,” “Naagin 3” and “Qayamat Ki Raat.” Her film credits include “Grand Masti,” “Sanju” and “Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari,” while she has also appeared in the streaming series “Hush Hush” and “Scoop.”

Mumbai — Actress Monalisa has responded to comparisons between her role as a courtesan in “Charudutt Ki Vasant Sena” and Rekha’s celebrated performance in the 1984 film “Utsav.”

Monalisa said she considers Rekha a legend and feels fortunate to have the opportunity to play a similar character.

“She is a legend. She is iconic, and there can be absolutely no comparison with her,” Monalisa said. “If I can even bring a small fraction of what she brought to such a role, I would consider myself fortunate.”

Monalisa plays Vasant Sena, a courtesan, in KUKU TV’s period micro-drama series. She said the role has allowed her to show audiences a different side of her acting.

“This is definitely a new level in my career,” she said. “I am able to show people that I can also portray a character like this, and that feels really good.”

Rekha played Vasant Sena in “Utsav,” which also starred Shashi Kapoor, Amjad Khan, Shankar Nag, Shekhar Suman, Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta.

Mumbai — Veteran actor Anupam Kher shared a warm family moment with his mother, Dulari Kher, before leaving for a two-month tour of the United States and Canada for his play “Jaane Pehchaane Anjaane.”

Kher posted a video on Instagram featuring his mother, brother Raju Kher and sister-in-law Reema Kher, saying he wanted to spend some lighthearted time with his family before departing.

The actor said the conversation, which took place entirely in Kashmiri, began with memories of his mother’s childhood and cousins before drifting into playful family banter.

“Perhaps, at a certain stage in life, we find ourselves wandering more often through the corridors of our childhood,” Kher wrote, adding that childhood memories “never grow old.”

Anshuman Jha Reveals Why ‘Hari-Om’ Became ‘Om Ka Hari’

Mumbai — Actor Anshuman Jha has revealed why his upcoming father-son comedy-drama was renamed from “Hari-Om” to “Om Ka Hari.”

Jha said the makers were unable to secure the rights to the original title, which were held by Tips.

“We didn’t get the title rights, so we did the next best thing,” he said.

Jha added that the new title also better reflects the film’s central relationship. Raghubir Yadav plays Hari, while Jha portrays Om.

“‘Om Ka Hari’ is a testament that a son eventually does become the father and the father becomes the son in a deeper sense, and that life itself is circular,” he said.

Directed by Harish Vyas, the film also stars Soni Razdan, Ayesha Kapur and Samta Sudiksha.

“Om Ka Hari” is scheduled for release in September. (Source: IANS)
