“Akshay is one of the most hardworking actors I know. In fact I learnt so much from him — the dedication, the punctuality. It also helps that he has a great sense of humour,” Katrina told IANS.

“Sooryavanshi” brings back Katrina and Akshay together after nine years. The two have previously worked in films such as “Namastey London”, “Sing Is Kinng”, “Humko Deewana Kar Gaye”, “Welcome” and “Tees Maar Khan”.

“Sooryavanshi” is the new addition in director Rohit Shetty’s cop drama universe after the two “Singham” films and “Simmba”.

In “Sooryavanshi”, Akshay essays the role of Veer Suryavanshi, a character introduced as an anti-terrorist squad officer in the 2018 “Simmba”, starring Ranveer Singh.

The movie, which is scheduled to hit the screens on March 27, 2020, also stars Gulshan Grover.

Sonam on Tuesday shared a small video from the film on Instagram. “‘Aisha’ was less a role for me and more like a best friend. This movie is close to my heart as are the people associated with it. Be it goofing around on sets, shooting at different locations, or just playing our parts, it definitely was a crazy adventure. Happy nine years ‘Aisha’,” Sonam wrote, as caption of her video.

“Aisha”, directed by Rajshree Ojha, also stars Abhay Deol, Cyrus Sahukar, Arunoday Singh, Ira Dubey and Amrita Puri.

The film is set in the upper class society of Delhi, and is an adaptation of Jane Austen’s 1815 novel “Emma”. It bears the same tone as the 1995 cult Hollywood film “Clueless”, which was also adapted from Austen’s novel.

The Bollywood hero is a cliche: Nawazuddin Siddiqui

New Delhi– Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui feels the Bollywood hero is the most cliched creation one can think of, adding that he likes to keep a distance from that image.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui

“I have played a variety of roles, be it gangster, a writer or a policeman. Even if I get an opportunity to play the lead hero in a movie, I will do it only on the basis of my style,” Nawazuddin told IANS.

“The Bollywood hero is one of the most cliched roles (that) you will find. People have this conception on how they see him, the kind of clothes he wears etc. This is a zone I ideally don’t want to be a part of because then you go into an absolute comfort zone,” he added.

According to Nawazuddin, anybody can play the hero but the difficult part is to play the same role differently each time.

“For this, you need an education and practice. According to me, a versatile actor is one who is able to play the same role differently. For example, I have played the mafia don several times, whether it is Faisal Khan or Ganesh Gaitonde. But each role is different, as there is always that one signature dialogue/move that sets the character apart from the other. I did the same even with Dilly Mahmood (in ‘McMafia’) too,” added the actor.

The 44-year-old actress has now shared a picture on Instagram, where she is seen working out. The accompanying text reads: “30 days to make a habit, 90 days to make it a lifestyle. #ShilpaKaMantra.”

“The start will always be the toughest hurdle to cross. But the day you begin, is also the day you’ve won half that battle. Good habits become a healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle = healthy, happy you,” went Shilpa’s caption.

In a recent interview, the actress, who is also a Yoga expert, said: “We are yet to learn a lot of things about yoga, we know so little about it. I feel the people of our country do not value yoga that much. Yoga, as a science, deserves a lot more importance at least in India. Look at the western countries and how they are utilising yoga to stay fit. I am trying to create awareness about yoga and fitness every day and regularly post on social media on this topic.”

“I am excited about my movie. It is about how good wins over evil. Most people don’t believe in ghosts but enjoy watching horror movies. Hence, I feel this is a smooth way for me to connect with youngsters,” Shafaq said.

In the video doing the rounds on social media, the actress is cuffed, with her hands behind her. “You can’t arrest me like this. Do you know who I am? I have not done anything. How can you arrest me like that?” She screams in the video.

While Sonakshi’s face is not clearly visible in the 10-second clip, which focuses only on her hands, the voice shouting “How can you arrest me like that?” is clearly hers.

The video left the actress’ fans confused. While many took to social media, wondering what was going on, and if the video was genuine, some actually started speculating if the “Dabangg” girl was in trouble and needed help.(IANS)
