Mumbai– Actress Kajol recently shared a touching message on Instagram, reflecting on how we remember loved ones who have passed away. Along with the hashtag #missyoudaddy, she posted black-and-white pictures that captured her pensive mood.
Her heartfelt message read: “How did we remember people before photographs or videos? How did we grieve without societal pressures and religious expectations? We did it with our hearts… by doing things that meant something to them. Maybe that’s why we loved harder… being something they wanted us to be. Living our lives in a way that made it better just because they were in it. Missing them isn’t enough; doing something about it every day makes it bearable. #pujostarts #missyoudaddy #loveyoualways”.
On the work front, Kajol will star in the upcoming Netflix thriller “Do Patti,” alongside Kriti Sanon and Saheer Sheikh. Kajol plays a cop for the first time in this film, slated for release on October 25 on Netflix.
The first promo of “Do Patti” has been released, featuring Kriti Sanon and Kajol. The promo shows Kajol visiting a cafe to catch Kriti Sanon. Another song from the movie, “Ranjhan,” featuring Kriti Sanon and Saheer Sheikh, has also been released. The song has been received well by music lovers.
Saheer Sheikh,is a known TV star. He is best recognized for his roles in “Mahabharat” (Arjun), “Navya,” and “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke,” transitions from TV to film with “Do Patti.” The film, produced by Kriti Sanon and Kanika Dhillon, “Do Patti” promises to be an intriguing thriller. This marks Kriti’s debut as a producer. Also, this is the first time Kajol will be playing a cop in a film. Prior to this Kajol played a lawyer in the Disney+ Hotstar series ‘The Trial’.
Rashmika Mandanna’s food crush: Kochi cafe’s irresistible French toast
Mumbai– Actress Rashmika Mandanna, who has a slew of titles lined up for release, loves savouring the flavours of Kochi. Her choice of treat was French toast.
On Monday, the actress took to her Instagram, and shared a series of goofy pictures of herself as she treated herself with some lip-smacking food and coffee a few days ago.
She wrote in the caption, “I was in Kochi for the last few days, and I went to this place called @frenchtoastindia and their French toast ! OMG yummmy. And, coffee as usual. Coffee was a lil too strong for me, so make sure you ask for 20ml espresso cappuccino if you can’t have strong coffee like me”.
She further mentioned, “Beautiful place, good food, and sweet people. Oh oh! Btw henceforth if I find nice places i order from or go to in my travels.. I am posting about it so that if you guys are in that city, you can also try”.
Recently, the actress went to the temple and wished good luck to children for their exams and those who are looking for a job. Rashmika took to Instagram stories, where she shared a picture of herself. In the image, she is flashing a big smile and has holy ash along with kumkum on her forehead.
She wrote on the picture, “I just had a second to go to a temple just now and I just felt like saying – god bless you all , kids – all the best for your exams, everyone looking for a job I hope all you get what you are looking for, I hope all your days are filled with love, joy and happiness Mwah! Big love!”.
Last month, she suffered a minor accident, and gorged on laddoos during her recovery.
Rajkummar Rao, Patralekhaa mourn loss of ‘Gaga’
Mumbai– Bollywood couple Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have expressed their grief over losing their pet dog Gaga, whom they tagged as their “anchor and baby”.
Rajkummar and Patralekhaa took to Instagram, where they shared a post featuring a slew of images and moments they shared with Gaga, their Yorkie. The photographs had Gaga looking adorable with hair clips, the actors lovingly holding her in their arms and even playing with their four-legged furry friend.
“Gaga , our angel our anchor our baby…Thank you for the most beautiful years. You guided us grounded us through happiness & through deep sorrows, through sadness & through laughters .Thank you for looking after us,” the post was captioned.
The caption further read: “Mummy Papa will miss you the most. Please meet us in every life time. You will always be our most precious baby. We Love You. Om Shanti.”
Bollywood actor Vijay Varma sent in his condolence for the star couple over their loss and wrote: “Oh no. Sorry to hear.. big hug to you both.”
On the work front, Rajkummar will next be seen along with Triptii Dimri in the upcoming film “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video”, which also stars Mallika Sherawat, Rakesh Bedi and Vijay Raaz.
The film follows the story of a couple who decide to film their first night as a souvenir. It all seems fine until the CD in which they stored their video gets stolen along with the CD player.
Rajkummar, who is currently basking in the success of his latest release “Stree 2”, in August shared the first look from his next action thriller film “Maalik,” which is directed by Pulkit, who has previously helmed “Dedh Beegha Zameen”, “Bose: Dead/Alive” and “Bhakshak”.
This will be the first time Rajkummar will be seen playing the role of a gangster in an action thriller. The film shoot is now in progress, with an extensive schedule planned across various locations in India.
“Maalik” is produced by Kumar Taurani under the Tips Films banner and Jay Shewakramani’s Northern Lights Films.
Meanwhile his wife Patralekhaa, was last seen in “IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack”, a crime thriller drama mini series about the hijacking of Indian Airlines Flight 814 in 1999.
Sonam, Rhea, Anand ring in ‘amazing’ Karan Boolani’s birthday in Maldives
Mumbai– Bollywood actress and fashionista Sonam Kapoor along with her sister Rhea Kapoor and husband Anand Ahuja made her brother-in-law’s birthday extra special in Maldives.
The family is currently holidaying in Maldives and even shared some heartfelt moments featuring the birthday boy, who has made movies such as “Thank You For Coming”.
Sonam shared a string of pictures of Boolani with her son Vayu among many other moments.

Rhea and Karan were dating for almost over a decade and got married at her family’s residence in 2021.
Talking about Sonam, the actress on October 5 shared a peek into what her “breakfast of champions” looks like.
The 39-year-old actress took to her Instagram stories, where she shared a picture of her hand filled with pills.
The actress captioned the post: “Breakfast for champions” along with tagging her doctor.
She did not reveal what the pills are for but going by the doctor’s bio on the photo-sharing website, it suggests that she is taking pills for detox for “gut and skin”. The doctor’s bio reads as “LA Naturopathic Doc/CEO… Gut, skin, hormones.”
Naturopathy takes a holistic approach to wellness and it supports a person to live a healthy lifestyle.
On the film front, the actress said that she is set to start shooting her first project post pregnancy early next year and said that she loves living so many interesting characters through her profession.
Sonam confirmed: “I’m super excited to face the camera again post my pregnancy. I love being an actor and I love living so many interesting characters through my profession. Human beings fascinate me and I love playing varied roles. I’m looking forward to my next.”
