Disha Patani’s perfect somersaults

Mumbai–Budding Bollywood star Disha Patani is a fitness freak, we all know that. Dishas obsession for fitness is only too well known — in fact the actress is known to never miss her daily exercise regime, which explains that toned look.

To motivate and inspire fans, Disha regularly posts videos and pictures on social media so that they take to working out.

She has now posted a video on her Instagram handle where she is seen performing perfect somersaults with the help of a trainer. You cannot but help marvel at Disha’s agility and sense of balance watching the video, as she makes a perfect landing.

Sometime back, it was reported that Disha prefers to work out twice a day. Kickboxing and dancing are other ways through which she stays fit, apart from working out and lifting weights.

I am still a child at heart: Isha Koppikar

Mumbai–Actress Isha Koppikar Narang, who makes her digital debut with the ALT Balaji web series titled ‘Fixer, says she still feels like a child at heart.

Isha was at Kishinchand Chellaram (KC) College in Mumbai on Monday, to deliver a speech under the TED Talk initiative .

Since the lecture was in a college, she did feel nostalgic. “I studied in Jai Hind College which is behind KC College. After coming here, I felt like entering the same atmosphere. I feel things have changed a lot but I am still the same. I really miss my childhood days but I feel that I am still a child at heart,” she said.

Talking of her upcoming projects, Isha said: “I make a comeback in Bollywood with the web series ‘Fixer’. Digitalisation is in so, I am also doing a web series for ALT Balaji. It will be released soon.”

In “Fixer”, she plays sub-inspector Jayanti Javdekar, who lives in a modest house with her young son and husband.

“This is the second time I am playing a cop in a Balaji production after ‘Kyaa Kool Hai Hum’ (2005) which was a comedy. The web series is a suspense thriller,” said Isha.

Salman’s cryptic tweet hints at Eid 2020 release for ‘Kick 2’

Mumbai–Even as fans were getting over the disappointment of Salman Khan’s Eid 2020 release, “Inshallah”, being shelved, the superstar has dropped what many feel is a hint of good news. In sync with his earlier promise that he would release a film on Eid 2020 despite “Inshallah” getting pushed, the superstar took to Twitter on Monday evening to make a cryptic announcement that may hold the secret of his plan of action for the festival next year.

“Itna mat sochna mere baare mein, Dil mein aata hoon.. aur Eid pe bhi (Don’t worry so much about me, I reside in your hearts.. and also arrive on Eid),” tweeted Salman. The cryptic tweet borrows from Salman’s dialogue in his 2014 Eid blockbuster, “Kick”, which went: “Mere bare mein itna mat sochna, dil mein aata hoon samajh mein nahi (Don’t worry so much about me, I reside in your hearts but not in your perception).”

Fans naturally took Salman’s latest tweet as an attestation of the fact that he has pushed “Insallah” in order to release “Kick 2” on Eid 2020.

Earlier in the day, Salman had announced on Twitter that his film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali “Inshallah” has been pushed and will not release on Eid 2020. Bhansali Productions also tweeted saying they have decided not to go ahead with the film as of now. This, of course, was a big disappointment for Salman’s fans because “Inshallah” would be reuniting the superstar with filmmaker Bhansali, and also pairing him opposite Alia Bhatt.

Salman Khan’s fans will surely be overjoyed if “Kick 2” releases on next Eid.

Isha has acted in films like “Pinjar”, “Don”, “Kyaa Kool Hai Hum” and “Ek Vivaah… Aisa Bhi”. She married hotelier Timmy Narang in November 2009. The couple has a daughter Rianna, who was born in 2014.

Gaurav Gera looking for a negative role

Mumbai–Actor Gaurav Gera of “Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin” fame and known for his Shopkeeper and Chutki avatars says he is in search of a negative role now.

Talking about his debut web series “Boss”, Gaurav said: “I think the title ‘Boss’ is pretty cool and self explanatory. Karan Singh Grover is apt for it. I play a computer geek, basically, Karan’s right-hand man, who hacks account so I am the brain.”

“I would like to do more (web series). It’s finite and the product is done nicely. You can really maintain quality in a web show. I would like to do various roles, especially looking for a negative role now.”
