Divyanka Tripathi bags best television actress award
Mumbai– Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, who had played the lead role in the long-running TV show “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein”, on Thursday won the best television actress award at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2020 here.
“I was long waiting for this award. It’s a very prestigious award show and I am honoured to be a part of it. I think it will be the best gem on my trophy wall. I am thankful to the team of DPIFF,” Divyanka said.
The actress has also featured in shows such as “Banoo Main Teri Dulhann” and “Adaalat”. Apart from the fiction space, she has also participated in reality shows. Divyanka and her husband Vivek Dahiya had also won the “Nach Baliye” show.
Rajkummar Rao wishes ladylove Patralekhaa on her birthday
Mumbai– Actor Rajkummar Rao took to social media to wish his ladylove, actress Patralekhaa, on her birthday.

The actor shared a photo on Instagram of Patralekhaa and wrote: “Happy birthday P! @patralekhaa. I still remember seeing you in an advertisement and wondering,”I wish I could meet this girl one day.” And as destiny or the universe would have it,much to my desire,I met you a month later. It has been so many years of togetherness,and yet,it feels like we’ve just met. You are the prettiest and the strongest girl I’ve met. Let’s create many more wonderful memories together.”
Commenting on the post, Patralekhaa replied: “Rk, thank you my love thank you for being you.”
Rajkummar and Patralekhaa have been very open about their relationship all along. The two worked together in Hansal Mehta’s 2014 directorial “Citylights”. The lovebirds keep posting photos together every now and then.
Recently, Rajkummar penned a letter for Patralekhaa on the occasion of Valentine’s Day where he mentioned: “Couple of years together and we’ve had our share of ups and downs. But one thing has been constant through it all. Us. Without the mandate of fancy dinner dates, chocolates or over the top gestures. I would choose to tread this path, do things that are meaningful and continue to reimagine this beautiful emotion to be greater together always.”
Taapsee on Filmfare Awards storm: Glad my name wasn’t dragged into it
Mumbai– Actress Taapsee Pannu, who recently won the Filmfare Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actor (Female), has reacted on the controversy that the awards ceremony has generated this year, over Zoya Akhtar’s “Gully Boy” sweeping most of the awards.

Taapsee says she is happy that her name wasn’t dragged in the controversy and adds she is glad that critics felt that she was worthy of an award, which she shared with her “Saand Ki Aankh” co-actress Bhumi Pednekar for their roles in the film.
“It took time but finally I got it and what should I say other than that? I was preparing my speech for it since 2016 and it was of no use. But this year I didn’t prepare a speech and that day I had to deliver the speech!” Taapsee said, while interacting with the media at the Radio Mirchi Music Awards.
Reacting on Filmfare Awards controversy, Taapsee said with a laugh: “It is nice that, for a change, my name wasn’t dragged into controversy. I am so used to it. I always get involved in some controversy or the other, but this time I wasn’t part of it. It means that most people were in agreement that I deserved the award, so I am thankful for that.”
Kareena, Malaika, Amrita redefine friendship goals in new pic
Mumbai– Actresses Malaika Arora, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora can be seen setting friendship goals in a new photograph.

On Wednesday evening, Kareena hosted a dinner party at her place where Malaika arrived with her son Arhaan Khan and rumoured boyfriend Arjun Kapoor, according to pinkvilla.com. Others who were at the dinner included Karisma Kapoor, Mallika Bhat and Amrita Arora.
On the acting front, Kareena will next be seen in “Angrezi Medium”. The film also stars Irrfan Khan and is scheduled to hit the screens on March 13.
“Angrezi Medium” revolves around a relationship between a single father, played by Irrfan, and his daughter (Radhika Madan).
“Angrezi Medium” is directed by Homi Adajania and the film also stars Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Tripathi, Deepak Dobriyal, Ranvir Shorey and others.
The film is presented by Jio studios and Prem Vijan.
Ayushmann Khurrana catches up with LGBTQI+ fans in Delhi
New Delhi, Feb 20 (IANS) Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who will next be seen in the gay rom-com “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan”, interacted with LGBTQI+ fans during his visit to the Capital.

To spend some time with the star, the fans had to participate in a contest, wherein they had to complete the catchy phrase: “I want to meet Ayushmann because…”
The meet-and-greet session was organised by Blued, a gay social app.
“Blued is the largest gay social app in India. While we have done out of the box campaigns in India, which focusses on strengthening the LGBTQI+ community with Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, being associated as exclusive dating partner, we aim at registering our presence as a brand which will always stand for the community rights and position our brand strongly to help the LGBTQ community in India,” Sanyam Sharma, marketing director, Blued India, said.
Speaking of “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan”, the film launches digital sensation Jitender Kumar as Ayushmann’s on-screen love interest. The film also reunites the “Badhai Ho” couple Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta, and features Manurishi Chaddha and Maanvi Gagroo in important roles. Bhumi Pednekar plays a cameo in the film, written and directed by Hitesh Kewalya. The film is scheduled to release on Fenruary 21.

Sidharth Shukla’s gym video goes viral
Mumbai– Actor Sidharth Shukla hit the gym after winning “Bigg Boss 13”, and his fans are loving it.
The actor brought the BB 13 trophy home earlier this month and he is back to his daily routine.
He is now giving fitness goals to people with his new video in which he is seen sweating it out at a gym.
He also thanked his followers and fans for “all the love and support”.
Meanwhile, according to Twitter India, “Bigg Boss 13” was a hit on the digital platform. Compared to 41 million tweets in 2018, Twitter recorded over 105 million tweets between January 1, 2020 and the show’s finale (February 15). In fact, with these numbers, the season became the most talked about season of the reality show on Twitter.
Sidharth became the season’s most tweeted about contestant, with Asim Riaz in the second position. Ironically, Asim became the first runner-up of the show as well.
Radhika Apte gets nostalgic as ‘Badlapur’ clocks 5 years
Mumbai– “Badlapur”, an action-thriller, has completed five years since it was released, and its actress Radhika Apte is super nostalgic.

Reminiscing about working with Sriram Raghavan, who helmed the film, Radhika said: “I think Sriram has a very peculiar eye about thrillers like no one else does, he is one of the most passionate people I have met, I mean he watches cinema, everything that is made available to him.
“He believes in actors a lot, if you see, the smallest parts of his films are cast really well you know, he fills his films with good actors. I absolutely love working with him because he gives so much space to the actors and it’s a great collaboration, he has immense clarity about what he wants.”
