Deepika obliges young male fan with a photo-op

London– Actress Deepika Padukone made a young male fan’s day by obliging him with a quick photo-op.

Deepika is currently busy shooting here for Kabir Khan’s “’83”, which stars her husband and actor Ranveer Singh as cricket legend Kapil Dev. She plays Kapil’s wife Romi in the film, about India’s first-ever cricket World Cup win in 1983.

Deepika’s latest photo, shared by admirers online, proves it is not all work and no play for her. In the photo, she is seen sporting a white outfit with a beige coat and posing with a boy, who was all smiles just like her.

Meanwhile, Ranveer has shared a mushy video on Instagram, to stress that Deepika is all of his heart. In the pic, Deepika is posing in front of a store that says, “All Of My Heart”.

Mumbai–Actor R. Madhavan, whose faith was questioned by a social media troll, says he respects all religions as his own and that he had the good fortune to pray at every Darga, Gurudwara and Church when a temple was not around.

A social media user had asked Madhavan as to why he had a “cross” in the background in his “mandir” at home. The user then questioned him “do you find Hindu gods in Christian churches?”

To which, Madhavan replied: “I really don’t worry about respect from the likes of you. I hope you get well soon.Surprised that in u r sickness you did not see the Golden temple pic there too and asked if I converted to Sikhism. I have blessing form the Dargas there too and blessing from all religious places around the world. Some gifted and some bought.”

The 49-year-old actor said that his home is a “home to staff from all faiths and we pray at a common alter.”

“Like any defense personal will tell you, happens in every unit. I have been taught from my very childhood to maintain my identity with pride but at the same time respect each and every faith, belief and every faith, belief and religion,” he said.

Salman shoots for ‘Dabangg 3’ amidst heavy rain

Jaipur– Bollywood’s superstar Salman Khan is shooting for the third installment of his “Dabangg” franchise here in heavy rain.

Salman on Thursday took to Instagram from the sets of “Dabangg 3”. In the video, the actor is seen sporting a black shirt and his iconic moustache from the film.

He says: “Happy Independence Day. Happy Rakhi and happy rain in beautiful Jaipur, Rajasthan.”

“Dabangg 3” is directed by Prabhudheva, and produced by Salman Khan and his brother Arbaaz Khan.

The film will also launch a new face Saiee, daughter of actor-filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar.

According to reports, the budding actress will play the love interest of superstar Salman Khan’s character, Chulbul Panday.

Deepika Padukone has all of Ranveer’s heart

Mumbai– Ranveer Singh has shared a love-filled video of his actress-wife Deepika Padukone who has all of the actor’s heart.

Ranveer took to Instagram to share the video in which Deepika – who is wearing an all-black ensemble, sun glasses and a pair of sneakers – is standing in front of a store which says “All Of My Heart”.

In another post, Ranveer can be seen smiling gleefully as he is “sandwiched” between his sister Ritika Bhavnani and Deepika’s sister Anisha Padukone.

Sharing the picture, the “Gully Boy” star captioned it “Sista Sandwich” with a bunch of heart emojis.

On the work front, Ranveer and Deepika are shooting for “’83”, which traces India’s historic victory at the 1983 cricket World Cup. While Ranveer portrays the team’s captain Kapil Dev, Deepika plays his wife Romi.

Hope people remember ‘Mission Mangal’ for long: Sharman Joshi

Mumbai– Actor Sharman Joshi, who plays a pivotal role in “Mission Mangal”, wants people to remember the film for a long time.

“We put a lot of effort into making this film and we always hoped the audience would love it, because we loved it while making it,” said Sharman.

He added: “The reaction has been overwhelming so far and it’s only been one day yet. The entire cast is thrilled with the response and we hope people will remember this movie for the longest of time,” he said.

“Mission Mangal”, stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menen along with Sharman Joshi. The film is based on ISRO’s Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), made possible by a primarily all-woman team of scientists in 2013.

The film released on Independence Day and has raked in over Rs 29 crore on day one.

Varun Dhawan calls dad David his ‘No. 1 director’

Bangkok– Filmmaker David Dhawan has turned a year older on Friday and his son Varun Dhawan has penned a birthday wish for papa dearest on social media.

“Happy birthday papa. You are my No. 1 director,” Varun wrote on Instagram along with a photograph that has him posing with David in Bangkok.

The father-son duo are currently shooting in Bangkok for the remake of the 1995 hit film, “Coolie No.1”. David had directed the original, featuring Govinda in the starring role, to be reprised by Varun in the remake.

The original film also starred Karisma Kapoor, while the heroine in the new film is Sara Ali Khan.

In 2017, David directed a remake of his 1997 hit “Judwa”, starring Salman Khan with son Varun.

Apart from “Coolie No. 1”, David is known for helming hit films like “Shola Aur Shabnam”, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” and ” Mujhse Shaadi Karogi”.

John, Jackie’s ‘Mumbai Saga’ to release in June 2020

Mumbai– Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta’s multi-starrer film “Mumbai Saga” will hit the big screen on June 19 next year. John Abraham, Jackie Shroff and Suniel Shetty will play key roles.

Jackie took to social media to announce the release date of the film and unveil its first official poster.

“Here’s presenting the poster of ‘Mumbai Saga’. The film releases on June 19, 2020,” Jackie tweeted on Friday.

“Mumbai Saga” is a gangster drama set in the eighties and the nineties. The film also stars Prateik Babbar, Gulshan Grover, Rohit Roy and Amole Gupte.

Pradeep Kabra to enter ‘Tenali Rama’

Mumbai– Actor Pradeep Kabra, who his known for his comic villain roles in films such as “Settai” and “Dilwale”, has been roped in for the TV show “Tenali Rama”.

“The royalty of this show is something that attracts everyone and I am really looking forward to being a part of it as well. While mine will be a negative character, it will have a own unique and quirky mannerism, and will surely entertain the viewers. I have this image of playing negative roles and the good part is that people are appreciating my performances. I hope everyone enjoys watching me,” Pradeep said.
