Virat, Anushka thank shutterbugs for respecting privacy of their kids Vamika and Akaay

Mumbai– Star cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma have thanked the paparazzi for their thoughtfulness towards protecting the privacy of their children, Vamika and Akaay.

The power couple sent out gift hampers to the shutterbugs along with a note expressing gratitude for respecting the privacy of their children.

In a heartfelt note, the couple wrote: “Thank you for respecting the privacy of our kids and for always being cooperative! With love, Anushka and Virat”

Fondly referred to as Virushka, Anushka and Virat got married in December 2017 in an intimate ceremony in Italy. The two welcomed their first child, a daughter, whom they have named Vamika.

Their son Akaay was born on February 15 of this year. The couple kept the news of the second pregnancy under wraps, sparking intense speculation.

Esha Deol happy to be back to work; says new projects to be announced soon

Mumbai– Esha Deol was in the news because of her divorce with Bharat Takhtani after 11 years of marriage. The actress, who is busy shooting for upcoming projects, revealed that she is happy to be working again.

Deol was present at a tree plantation drive In Mumbai when she spoke about her upcoming projects.

The actress, who was last seen last year with Suniel Shetty in the OTT series, ‘Hunter Tootega Nahi Todega’, said, “I am busy shooting for upcoming films. Announcements will be made very soon for them. I can only say I am very happy to be working.”

The ‘No Entry’ actress also spoke about the importance of planting trees.”It is a wonderful feeling to plant a tree as this is not for us but for our future generations,” Deol said.

“Yesterday, we saw a terrible storm in Mumbai; earlier, Dubai got flooded because of freak rains. All these are wake up calls from Mother Nature to preserve her beauty,” the actress added.

Staying on the subject of trees, Deol said, “Nowadays, more and more trees are being cut and new buildings are being constructed on the pretext of city life. It is our responsibility, however, to plant more and more trees for our future generations.”

Saif Ali Khan modifies Kareena’s tattoo that he sports on his forearm

Mumbai– Actor Saif Ali Khan, who will be seen making his Telugu debut with ‘Devara’, has modified his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan’s tattoo on his forearm.

The actor was recently spotted at Mumbai airport when he caught the attention of the shutterbugs.

Saif had inked his wife’s name on his left forearm in Hindi while they were dating. The new tattoo design seems to have covered up Kareena’s name.

However, it’s unclear if Saif modified the tattoo as per the demand of his character in a film or if it’s a temporary modification.

Saif and Kareena tied the knot in 2012, and are parents to Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Saif will be seen essaying the role of a cop in ‘Devara’ which also stars Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor.

Farah Khan red flags mounting entourage cost of actors, says it burdens producers

Mumbai– Director-choreographer Farah Khan, who is known for ‘Main Hoon Na’, ‘Happy New Year’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’, isn’t very pleased with those stars who add to the woes of the producer with mounting costs.

Farah recently appeared on Twin Encounter’s latest episode on Chinki Minki’s YouTube channel and spoke about the positive changes that she would like to see in the Hindi film industry.

She said that the entourage costs of some actors are piling up and they burden the producers. This could affect the work which gets reflected on the screen.

She said: “I think bahut zyada entourage cost ho gaya hai. Ek actress 9 jan saath mein leke aate hain. Ek actor 8 jan leke aata hai. That is a waste of resources. Woh film mein dikhta nahi hai, wo cost (An actress brings 9 people, an actor gets 8 people. That does not show on the film)”.

She added, “I think that needs to be controlled a bit. Producers pe bahut bhari padta hai (It weighs down on the producers).”

Ananya Panday posts ‘forgotten photos from my camera roll’ of her in bikini

Mumbai– The Gen-Z diva Ananya Panday shared some unseen ‘forgotten’ pictures as a throwback Tuesday post, which are mostly from her beach vacations.

The actress, who has 24.6 million followers on Instagram, shared a series of photos, featuring her posing in various bikinis.

In the snaps, Ananya is seen wearing a sky blue coloured bikini, a pink bikini, and a blue bikini, striking poses at the beach.

In one photo, she is wearing a backless white and black striped bodycon dress.

Another picture shows Ananya in a black tank top and matching flared denims, posing with a sign board that reads: “Famous for no reason”.

The last photo in the series features her wearing an orange off-shoulder dress.

The post is captioned: “Forgotten photos from my camera roll (the last pic is a breadstick and it’s meant to be a cute pic pls calm down).”

The location of the photos is not mentioned in the post, however, in July 2023, Ananya went on a vacation in Lisbon, Portugal, Spain, and Ibiza.

The pictures might be from Ananya’s Europe holiday last year.

Kiara to represent India at Women in Cinema dinner at 77th Cannes Film Festival

Mumbai– Actress Kiara Advani is set to represent the country at the Red Sea Film Foundation Women in Cinema gala dinner at the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, to be held in the French Riviera from Tuesday.

Hosted by Vanity Fair, the gala will bring together six women from across the globe to honour their achievements, both in front of and behind the camera.

Kiara made her debut with ‘Fugly’ in 2014, she was then seen playing myriad characters, from the independent Naina in ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ to the complex Nanki in ‘Guilty’ and Preeti, a vulnerable woman caught in a passionate but troubled relationship in ‘Kabir Singh’.

Kiara has then worked in movies such as ‘Shershaah’ and ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, where she showcased her acting prowess.

Looking forward, Kiara is now gearing up for the release of the political thriller ‘Game Changer’, directed by S. Shankar and co-starring Ram Charan. She also has ‘Don 3’ and ‘War 2’ in the pipeline.

Mumbai– Actress Shruti Haasan said that she needs to be on a movie set as soon as possible.
