Abhishek’s special birthday wish for Aishwarya
Mumbai– Actor Abhishek Bachchan sent out a special birthday wish for wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who turned 45 on Thursday.
Aishwarya, Abhishek and their daughter Aaradhya took off for a short family vacation for the special day. The three of them were photographed by paparazzi as they made their way to the airport.
For his wife’s birthday, Abhishek took to social media to share a black-and-white photograph, and wrote: “Happy birthday wife. I love you! My happy place,” he captioned the image, where the two are seen holding each other.
Aishwarya married Abhishek, who is the son of megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, in 2007.
Aishwarya was crowned Miss World in 1994. She started her film journey with Mani Ratnam’s 1997 Tamil drama “Iruvar” and had her first Hindi film release in “Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya” that same year.
She was later seen in films like “Jeans”, “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam”, “Taal”, “Devdas”, “Mohabbatein”, “Guru”, “Jodhaa Akbar”, “Sarbjit”, “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” and “Fanney Khan”.
Nora to play ‘key role’ in ‘Batla House’
Mumbai– Actress Nora Fatehi is excited to join the cast of the upcoming film “Batla House”.
Nora on Friday tweeted that she will be playing a key role in the movie, starring John Abraham.
“I’m so happy to announce that I am indeed playing a key role in the movie ‘Batla House’. I am so excited to be joining the cast and crew and to be collaborating again with John Abraham, Nikkhil Advani, Bhushan Kumar. It’s going to be epic,” Nora wrote.
This will be the second time Nora will be seen sharing screen space with John. The two were last seen together on-screen in the song “Dilbar dilbar” from “Satyameva Jayate”.
Madhuri’s dancing mission
Mumbai– Actress Madhuri Dixit Nene says she wants to take the expression and passion of dance to everyone.
Madhuri is doing it with her online dance platform — Dance With Madhuri (DWM). She has partnered with telecom major Bharti Airtel to launch dance channel — “Let’s Dance” on Airtel Digital TV.
“Our vision for Dance with Madhuri is to take the expression and passion of dance to everyone,” Madhuri said in a statement.
“With Airtel Digital TV’s reach, we do believe that millions of people can now learn how to dance right in their living rooms. So excited to launch this service,” she added.
The channel has a large bouquet of over ad free content of over 150 hours with over 2200 lessons taught over 170 plus classes. The channel will also bring together several choreographers along with Madhuri.

Wish Remo choreographs me one day: Karisma Kapoor
Mumbai– Actress Karisma Kapoor, who was a celebrity guest on the fourth season of dance based reality show “Dance+”, wishes to get choreographed by director-choreographer Remo D’Souza one day.
In an episode of the show, one of the participants paid a surprise tribute to D’Souza, the show’s ‘super judge’, capturing his inspiring journey as a background dancer to an accomplished choreographer and filmmaker in Bollywood, read a statement.
After the act, reminiscing about his journey, he shared a fact with Karisma that he was a part of her song “Sundara sundara” from “Rakshak” as a background dancer.
Appreciating his hard work and his successful journey, she said: “I wish Remo choreographs me some day.”
The 44-year-old actress acknowledged the importance of the background dancers in the industry.
“Back up dancers are such a big support to us actors and their contribution in the song is immense,” she added.
Rituparna Sengupta, Ihana Dhillon to turn showstoppers
Mysuru– Actors Rituparna Sengupta and Ihana Dhillon will walk the ramp for Kolkata-based designer Jaya Misra at Zingbi Mysore Fashion Week Season 5.
Misra is celebrating the spirit of ‘real women’ at the fashion gala with her new collection Navya. It will be showcased on Friday.
“Ethnic with a modern twist is the perfect tagline for my new collection Navya. Every woman is extraordinary in their own way, and to accentuate the uniqueness, I came up with this collection and have Rituparna Sengupta from Bengal and Ihana Dhillon who is originally from Punjab walk as my showstoppers,” Misra said in a statement.
Rituparna said she is both “excited and nervous” to be back on the ramp for her dear friend.
“I have always found walking the ramp more challenging than acting, as there are no retakes,” Rituparna added.
Navya is a selection of fusion designs with a touch of intense colours. There are cocktail gowns, saris, lehengas and drape dhotis for women, while the men’s line includes dhoti, straight pants, kurtas and more.
SRK has outdone himself in ‘Zero’: Aamir Khan
Mumbai– Superstar Aamir Khan saw the trailer of the upcoming film “Zero” and feels Shah Rukh Khan has outdone himself.
Directed by Aanand L. Rai, “Zero” features SRK as a vertically challenged man. The film also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
A special trailer screening was held on Wednesday, where Aamir was one of the guests. He took to Twitter and praised the cast and crew of the film.
“Guys, I just saw the trailer of ‘Zero’. Just one word… Outstanding! Congratulations Aanand L Rai! Katrina is fantastic! Anushka Sharma is unbelievable! SRK, you have outdone yourself! Can’t wait to to watch the film,” Aamir wrote.
Shah Rukh on Friday morning shared a photograph of himself along with Aamir and captioned it: “Hug from the Thug! Beat that!”
It will release in December.
Meanwhile, Aamir is waiting for the release of his forthcoming film “Thugs Of Hindostan”, which also features megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. It will hit the screens on November 8. (IANS)
