Rishi wants ‘inch pinch’ on Ranbir

Mumbai– After Ranbir Kapoor copied a scene from his father Rishi’s “Chandni” in “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”, the veteran actor is now keen to do a “take off” on his son.

A Twitter user shared a video of a sequence in the film with Ranbir and Anushka Sharma in it, terming it the “best thing about ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'”.

Responding to that, Rishi posted: “Well that’s my son’s take off on me in ADHM. Soon I shall do a take off on him. Inch pinch”.

Filmmaker Karan Johar’s “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” released on Friday, ahead of the festive occasion of Diwali. It minted Rs 35.60 crore in its opening weekend. The film also features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.

Sikandar calls Jaya Bachchan ‘mother from another brother’

Veteran actors Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher’s son Sikandar, who is close friends with Abhishek Bachchan, considers Jaya Bachchan a “mother from another brother”.

Sikandar posted a selfie on social media with Jaya, which he clicked during a Diwali party at the Bachchan residence on Sunday night.

“Mother from another brother, legendary legend and myself Sikandar this side, Diwali, epicular, love and light,” Sikandar tweeted.

On the work front, Sikandar was last seen in the TV show “24 Season 2”.

Stars of today try to portray love amongst themselves: Salim Khan

Popular screenwriter Salim Khan says today’s film celebrities try to portray love among themselves, but he feels it’s “not possible”.

The 80-year-old veteran tweeted: “There cannot be love between rivals, only courtesy. The stars of yester years like Dilip sahab (Dilip Kumar), Raj sahab (Raj Kapoor) and Dev sahab (Dev Anand) had realised this and lived together for 30-40 years with respect and courtesy.

“The stars of today are trying to portray love amongst themselves which is not possible. It is like trying to find a black cat in a pitch dark black room which is not there.”

His son Salman Khan has had a bittersweet relationship with Shah Rukh Khan, but of late, they have maintained a cordial bond.
