Lowell, MA–Beej Das, Democratic candidate for Congress in Massachusetts’ Third Congressional District, announced the opening of his campaign headquarters in downtown Lowell.
Going forward this office will be the hub for all campaign activities, and provides a place for staffers and volunteers to work to ensure the campaign is in the best position to be successful. The office is located at 107 Central Street.
The campaign will be hosting two events at the headquarters to celebrate its opening. On Friday, March 23rd the Das for Congress campaign will host a reception at HQ from 6pm to 8pm. All are welcome to stop by to meet Beej and discuss their hopes and goals for the campaign, the city, and the district. The following day, Saturday, March 24th, there will be a coffee and donuts reception from 10-11am at the headquarters, after which everyone is invited to hit the streets with Beej to collect signatures.
“I could not be more excited about the opening of this office. The central location will make it easy for district residents to engage with myself and our campaign team in a way that can only help to ensure I meet their vision for the next Congressional representative for the third district, ” said Das. “The office’s proximity to the canal system provides a constant reminder of the economic history of the city as I work with supporters to develop my vision for the future of the economy here in the district.”
Das also announced the hiring of Katy Myers as Director of Operations.
“Katy comes to us with great operations experience, plenty of energy, and a passion for voting rights,” said Das. “I’m excited to have her as part of Team Das moving forward. You’ll be seeing a lot of Katy around the district.”
