AIF to Hold its Annual Gala on March 31, Co-Chaired by Kunjan Anjaria & Vikram Mahidhar and Asha & Kim Shah

BOSTON–The American India Foundation, whose mission is to promote social and economic change in India, will hold its annual fundraising gala on March 31, 2018 at the Renaissance Waterfront Hotel in Boston. The gala will be co-chaired by Kunjan Anjaria & Vikram Mahidhar and Asha & Kim Shah.

The theme for the 2018 gala is “Connect: Connect with a cause, Connect with ideas, Connect with the community.”

“We want to connect back with people and the cause in India so that we can make a difference,” said Mahidhar, an entrepreneur, strategy advisor and innovator who leads Cognitive Technology Solutions business at RAGE Frameworks. “We also want to bring some AIF beneficiaries from India to the gala in March.”

Kim Shah, a marketing and business development executive in high tech industry, said that gala chairs and AIF volunteers are all excited about the upcoming event.

“Vikram, Kunjan, Asha and I are honored and excited to be co-chairing the upcoming AIF gala to be held on March 31st, 2018 at the Renaissance Waterfront Hotel in Boston,” said Shah. “The theme for the gala is CONNECT – connect with a cause, connect with ideas, connect with the community.”

He said that AIF collectively believes that when people come together as a community, transformation happens.

“Once a year, we get this tremendous opportunity to come together in support of the many wonderful causes that are supported by AIF, and we look forward to seeing many old friends as well as making new ones at the upcoming event,” Shah said.

New England leadership of AIF includes: Raj & Nalini Sharma, Venkat & Pratima Srinivasan, Drs. Brian & Sunita Pereiira, Vivek & Vandana Sharma, and Santhana & Namita Krishnan. Members of AIF’s New England Council of Governors are: Andy Gupta, Farida Kathawalla, Nimit Nathwani, Sangita Thakore, Srini Ambati and Vikram Mahidhar.
