Makers of Suriya’s ‘Scene’ Release First Song Ahead of November 6 Premiere
Chennai — The makers of Tamil actor Suriya’s upcoming film “Scene,” directed by Jithu Madhavan, have released the movie’s first single, “Aathi Iva Yarraa,” as anticipation builds for its worldwide theatrical release on November 6.
Production company Zhagaram Studios announced the song’s release Thursday on social media, confirming that it is also available in Telugu under the title “Ammo Idi Evarraa.”
“It’s time to vibe! First single from #Scene is out now! Aathi Iva Yarraa (Tamil) Ammo Idi Evarraa (Telugu),” the production house wrote on X.
The song was composed by Sushin Shyam, with lyrics and vocals by Rajpriyan. The release follows the film’s recently unveiled title teaser, which offered audiences their first detailed look at Suriya’s character.
In the teaser, Suriya appears as Inbaraj, a police officer whose reputation appears to inspire fear among criminals and prison inmates.
The teaser opens with a voiceover questioning the character’s personality, suggesting that his professional abilities conceal a darker side.
“You guys keep showcasing his talent to hide and mask his despicable character,” the voiceover says.
Suriya is then shown arriving at a crime scene and questioning a constable about a murder. When he asks, “Who killed whom?” the constable responds, “You are here to find that out.”
Another sequence features a prison warden warning inmates about Inbaraj’s arrival, suggesting that suspects often behave unpredictably in his presence.
In one scene, Inbaraj confronts a prisoner and emphasizes his extensive record of arrests.
“Take a good look at my face. To you, I might be the only cop to have ever arrested you. But to me, you are one among the 900 odd criminals I’ve locked up in prison,” he says.
The film, previously known by its working title “Suriya 47,” began production in Chennai in December 2025 with a traditional ceremonial launch.
“Scene” marks a collaboration between Suriya and Madhavan, with Nazriya Nazim playing the female lead. The supporting cast includes Naslen, John Vijay and Anandaraj.
The film’s technical team includes cinematographer Vineeth Augustian, editor Ajmal Sabu, production designer Ashwini Kale and stunt choreographer Chethan D Souza. Sushin Shyam is composing the film’s music.
Produced by Zhagaram Studios, “Scene” is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 6, coinciding with this year’s Diwali season. (Source: IANS)
