Shaan’s Wife Radhika Mukherji Says She Performs a Havan for Him Every Birthday

Mumbai — Singer Shaan’s wife, Radhika Mukherji, marked his birthday Wednesday with a heartfelt message revealing that she performs a havan for him every year as a prayer for his health, happiness and well-being.

Sharing a photo from this year’s ceremony on Instagram, Radhika said the annual ritual has become her personal way of praying for her husband.

“Every year, on your birthday, I do a havaan for you. It’s become my own little way of praying for you, for your health, your happiness, your peace… for everything that I may not always know how to put into words,” she wrote.

“The truth is, my heart feels okay when I know you’re okay,” she added.

Radhika said she plans to continue asking God to protect and bless Shaan each year.

“So every year, I’ll keep asking God for the same thing .. to protect you, bless you and keep you happy and healthy. That’s really all I need. Happy birthday to my forever person ! Love you forever .. cause forever has no end,” she wrote.

The couple’s son, Maahi, also shared a collage of previously unseen photos of his father on Instagram Stories.

“No one ever comes close, happy birthday Baba. You are forever the topmost standard. Love you Baba…Surprise incoming,” he wrote.

Shaan and Radhika married in November 2000 and have two sons, Maahi and Soham.

The couple marked 25 years of marriage last November.

At the time, Shaan reflected on their relationship in a social media post, saying he once imagined their silver anniversary would find them older and ready to slow down.

“But with @radhikashaan in my life … every day felt as new and fresh and beautiful, and before I knew it … we were 25 years married!! And the magic has just begun,” he wrote. (Source: IANS)
